Like me many find the warlock run just horrid it's a warlock not undead. Rather then change the animation completely why not offer a zen buy able token that lets you change your classes run and/or stance to another class? Then everyone can feel they have a "cool" looking/running alt and it increases profits in the Zen market for you..Cryptic. I call it a win/win.

Right no dodge changes, just run animations and stances. You have a point about the stance but that depends on is weapon placement is part of the code for running/standing/walking of it's stand alone per class. If it's the latter then this little token would let you do that horrid warlock zombie run with your blades at your side mister TR..if you really wanted it. Purely cosmetic everyone is happy, like your animation? Great you save yourself some zen. Hate it, great you have a option even if it does cost you.
Anyways it's just a idea to fix the fact that a great many players hate the warlock animation in the end it's always up to Cryptic.
Don't overdo it now. He's not talking about exchanging mechanics. It's purely cosmetic. Within limits it could make a nice customization thingy that probably would sell nicely in the AH. You don't have to change the mechanics of the shift key to change a teleport into a dodge roll or vise versa. The TRs combat "dance" would look fine on a CW too.

Okay but we all know this will likely not happen..
NW has the best combat system I've seen so far but I wish it had more features such as guild housing... marriage, etc etc. They leave out enjoyable options such as these, this game is awesome but we have no customization whatsoever. Look at the quests for example, we have no choice but to follow a pre-made, we can't make choices.
This game needs more customization and it'll be close to perfect.
It's just a suggestion and I am not going to quit playing if they don't I just won't role play my warlock.
Well, they changed Warlock stance and animations.
As for the OP's idea, I don't think any of the existing stances would fit other classes. But they could, perhaps, make few possible stances for each class, however I don't see any of that happening.

Brb changing my TR's dodges to be a GWF sprint animation.
Brb changing my stance to the Dragon Ball Z CW one, so my dagger also floats close to my shoulder.

Distinguished classes would promote and encourage replayability and probably for proprietary reasons.
I'd say little to no chance of that suggestion being implemented and I can't say I disagree with their decision if I were in their place
