Okay so with the nerf to the 4-piece pvp gear set, what will peeps be using in Mod 4? Many say the pvp set will no longer be worth using so what other options do we have? And on that note, what makes the set so suddenly undesirable? The healing we will receive from it will be less yes but will it be so bad that we are driven to using the Black Ice or pve gear instead? The movement boost is still pretty huge imo but for me the bigger loss is the removal of Nature's Blessing. Without the pvp set we are looking at almost no Tenacity as well.

in preparation for the nerf, I went ahead & build a totally new kit on live, using the Purified Black Ice set. with the 4pc purified armor and the 2 purified weapons, you're pretty close to set on defensive stats.
i added the corrupted cloak, 2 purified rings, profound dominance belt for offensive stats. i had to swap out most offensive enchantments for Savages (crit/ap), but in the end i have a much more balanced build than before.
pretty much soft capped on everything. The bonuses from the purified gear are better than i expected.
The only question remaining is what new weapon set/accessories will we see in mod 4. I haven't gotten a chance to test anything yet, but will be looking at that this weekend. My hope is to be able to replace a piece or two and add some extra power/HP.
I'm still going to use my Profound Combatant set as I prefer the 20% speed. Let's face it the healing won't matter much if your ganked by 4 other people. The healing was useful but IWD I'll use pots and just try to keep people at range in domination.
If they add run speed to something else then I'll drop 2 pieces.
The wild medicine perk will more then make up for the reduced 4 set bonus lol
If it goes live as it is on preview and even with that if. If WM is our healing does the profound set's nerfed healing matter or can we get more out of a different build?
Edit: additionally the new archery path makes PVE HRs more viable. And WM is 3 in the combat tree. So just getting that feat means sacraficing PVE viability for a PVP build. Much like the GWF changes it means choosing one or the other. If the CW re-work means more control and less DPS the new archery DPS becomes desireable for delves.
