Heya all,
I installed NW again after an about 1yr break (had a lvl56 TR before, quit after the TR nerfs) and now I am thinking about starting again with a GWF.
I want to have a top DPS character for PVE. (my TR was almost all the time on top of the list with a lot more than the second, wanna have the same feeling again...)
I had to choose between CW and GWF and looking at how they will nerf CWs again I am leaning towards GWF.
I guess I would need to make a Destroyer GWF.
So I need some advice how to start off with my GWF, what is the best spec, best build, the best way to go.
Also I would be happy if you could forward me to a general guide so I know what race to go with and what stats I need the most... So I could start my character ASAP
Thanks!

Youve come back at wrong time.... GWF is getting significant nerfs, which will mostly nerf them harder then CW.. unless things change, CW will still offer more damage and survival in dd's.
If your going full straight out DPS SM path, Destroyer , even after nerfs will be that.. but they are reducing survivabilty significantly, having to run around with your head chopped off will effect DPS more then anything.
They are not done tinkering, maybe they will reduce the over the top nerf to unstoppable to the point that you dont have to run every 3 seconds, if they do that , then GWF will be ok. If you have to run around instead of hitting things like a good barbarian should.. bah.. go cw.
Or who knows what the warlock class is going to offer.
I worte a GWF guide for mod 3 that may be of some use to you, check it out here: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?676511-Misa-s-PVP-PVE-Hybrid-Destroyer-GWF-Build-for-mod-3
Feel free to ask me questions or pm me in game (just let me know why you are if you do)
Hope this helps,

I think GWF will still be one of the best Dungeon PvE DPSer's out there, as even with Destroyer we are able to do both AoE and Single target DPS.
Don't believe all the doom and gloom, we won't be far and away the best anymore, but with proper training/movement/timing we'll be just fine... Just gotta practice!
I'm looking to do my mod3 set, but i think it's unbalanced... your choice: get high dmg with no protection or get high protection with no damage... Is that right?
