Today I learned I was Immortal.

Was in GG 20VS20 PVP. Some Guardian Fighter knocks me back down here via Bull Charge. I bet he was so satisfied, little did he know. I wasn't dead. And I could walk completely freely on this pit

Come at me death. This is how overpowered Hunter Rangers are, we are granted immortality on top of everything. Just teasing.

    lmao nice pic looks like you was just 1 inch away from a painful death but i guess thats how well HR can dodge things :)

    I thought that way as well when I landed. I was like "Oh sheeit I shouldn't move... not even 1 inch". Then curiosity consumed me. I walked all over the pit. Not a single bit of HP drained. It was like I was walking on clear ground. Very odd.

    Lol like you said i bet the guy was annoyed i have knocked people in the pit but they have landed on an ledge or something and i hate it but landing in the pit and still not dying must have made him a little angry :P

    You most likely had your immunity frame just in the moment where you crossed the invisible 'Kill' layer that is actually above the blades. The same 'trick' also applies during the current Event Skirm, when for some reason, you get bumped off the Moonstone Mask Island, you fall for a bit, cross Kill layer 1, Soulforge (when you have it) applies, you fall for a bit more, and once you hit the ground, you are sticking in a 'Kill' layer with your ankles, which murders you AGAIN and properly.
    So 'Ye olde Pit 'o' Blades' is just missing the second 'Kill' trigger once you are on the ground.

    i belive you van shift just befor you land from a big jump . well my GF can block fall damage

    Immortality living in a spike pit from which you cannot escape because as much as you can dodge, HRs can't jump any better than a GF, with only the rotting flesh of the not-so-lucky other adventurers that fall in to munch on for all eternity.
