Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate Hanging

Trying to log in and I can't even get to the login screen.

    Bleh... got the same issue.

    Game crashed entering DK and havent been able to get back on

    I'm getting the same error.... I got in one time but it said that it couldent update a file because it was locked, then in-game it wouldnt let me joing the skirmish because of a "Map" problem.

    What's up Cryptic?

    Now it wont launch at all and I get:

    "Unable to establish connection to Patch Server. Please check your internet connection. If problems persist contact Technical Support"

    Where's Cryptic's Technical Support....of course I have an internet connection. I'm sending this!

    no its not fixed, i even reinstalled neverwinter. now it wont even patch :[

    Still can't get in after a while away. It's not just this Cryptic game either.

    Server went kaput! No workey workey.

    I had this as well but it worked fine when I tried again immediately afterwards.

    I get it to where it says patching but it isn't patching. Been like this for 2 days now .

    This is happening to me, too, and tech support also seems to be down. Little annoyed that I'm losing the coins from my invokes. (yes, I know about sword coast adventures, but can't currently access it.)

    Anyone got help on this?? I cannot play since last week, because it keeps saying that it is trying to connect to auto update.

    Edit: Neverwimd, I just found the solution. It was related to Bitedefender firewall blocking the connection.. I don't know why, but it started doing that after previous patch.
