TR's raise your voice, are you happy with waiting beyond mod4 for fixes?

If the answer to this question is any derivative of "yes the accross the board nerfs on everyone else is an indirect buff and I'm happy" then please, either move on quietly or try to understand I am calling for you to be up in arms about powers that don't work as they should or need a QOL change. For example;

Lurkers, is garbage, isn't needed to be a gap close, this part of the daily is not helpful and incongruous with the damage buff and stealth increase. Completely change it or buff it.

First strike, you actually have to leave combat. As in be able to mount again. With the elongated timers for leaving combat this class feature is useless. It should reset on stealth activation.

Blitz. Not totally useless but close for pvp. The small backwards dodge should be bigger, and the range increased to compensate. Or the dodge should be a REAL dodge. Props to Kweassa (I think) for this idea.

Infiltrators action. Very underwhelming.

Impact shot. Sub par damage even compared to the worst of our at wills. The utility hasn't been readjusted since tenacity either so its non existant.

Vengeances pursuit. So many clunky aspects of this ability it's single handedly ruined the WK paragon for most TRs.


I'm sure there is more. But really. Please chime in. Some good class changes are a long time coming.


And that's just powers. There's also many issues with feats. Like rust said, determined pursuit doesn't work.

"Capstone Feat Saboteur: Ruthless Efficiency

When you land a killing blow, your Armor Pen is increased by 30% for 6 seconds.

Falls under the worthless, most useless capstone feat in the game category. On a 1v1, this feat literally translates to: "I will kill you and after I kill you I will ignore 30% of your armor as if you needed more killing coz you could be more dead." Death by Soulforged doesn't even proc it" ~Rust

I'm sure there's more.

    to me, vengeance's pursuit and impact shot are ones of the skills that need the most buffing up.

    TR desperately needs a solution to PVE. Sadly TRs are all about DPS and less about tricks and defense, making little use in a world of ADDs.

    If the TR had much more utility other than just plain old DPS skills they might have their worth outside of pvp. They are called tricksters afterall, not invisible men.

    for pve it would be easy to just make some skills more effective aoes. Increase the size of dazing/wicked reminder. Make DF speed up every successive use (after all three attacks, the next set gets to the third faster, and so one). Increase blitz aoe size and shorten cast time. And gives us arm pen off of a stat we can use. Just random thoughts.

    for pvp, BUFF THE USELESS OR NOT WORKING POWERS/FEATS ALREADY. Wtf.

    They have to nerf other classes and buff tr damage. Not touching perma. Well the thing is i do not belive after year of nerfs they will ever buff tr. That is why i have only one request to devs. Leave TR alone, you have nerfed it enough. As it is now you can solo instances and tank draco, which means u can do cn. What is is not disaster yet. That is why just leave tr alone.

    they already said a stealth rework is being done, so don't expect things to stay like this.

    You know as far as i know they planned to destroy stealth but it was blocked. They can plan many things but i think that some plans we would not like to know about, as this crazy idea to destroy perma stealth while rogue is so terribly weak.

    I think the sane thing to do if destroying perma is to buff the damage or give more cc, any of those options looks good to me.

    I would be happy to see the following changes:

    Wicked Reminder: Your powers deal more damage (yours alone) instead of You break their armor lowering their defense.

    Blitz: Increase the target cap please!

    Whilrwind of Blades: PIERCE. It must pierce through targets.

    Smoke Bomb: +damage. Example: "This power now has an additional effect. Smoke Bomb has a chance to trigger an Asthma Attack. When targets are affected by Asthma Attack, they take 100% of your weapon damage as suffocating damage over 5 seconds."

    Except you know they won't do either. They'll ruin stealth and give nothing to compensate, just like every single other nerf. TR has NEVER seen a buff or an improvement. Every single change we've ever had was a straight uncompromised nerf. Hell, Lurker's teleport was a nerf because half the time it teleports you to some add or somewhere you really didn't want to be. Even the visual effect was a nerf, the lack of timer/obvious effect means it's almost impossible to know if it's still up or not. Maybe on higher settings than the low ones I use it's visible? On my low ones I cannot see any difference. I used to be able to use it effectively, but not anymore.

    At the going rate. Anything they say, they're going to rework is scary. Very very scary.
    Often times than not, what they say they are going to rework, is better off just leaving it alone.

    TR's should be THANKFUL they aren't getting any "fixes" yet as all of us know what that entails... TR will rule PVP in mod 4 still utilizing perma-stealth until their eventual nerf cycle comes around.

    GWF and CW are getting forced into new paths again, destroyers are dead and so are renegades and thaums. Watch how hard the executioner path will get nerfed when the "fix" cycle hits TR (and probably DC).

    we/they could get some good ideas from the combat line of rangers. So many cool ideas they put there. Like something that heals. I hate relying on Life steal

    Being afraid of nerfs isn't reason enough not to ask for fixes/QOL changes.

    I think this thread has possibly summarised up all my problems...As I have played TR for sooo long and I've seen him go through soo many nerfs....NOT A SINGLE BUFF was given to Rogue since patch of module 2. Every single patch, a bit before, after module 2 was a nerf. Ever since then rogue has not been doing the best single target damage(UNLESS you go Executioner path)...Yes I have tried it. Another point I COMPLETELY HAVE TO agree on is Impact shot. WHEN THE HELL DID THEY NERF IT? It hits with LAUGHABLE power and it deals more damage more charges you have? I'm a 15k TR and the first charge hits (CRITICALS) as of MAX 5k. I don't know if someone has probably done more than that.. im pretty sure they have, and on the last charge it hit 2k. Anddd thennnnnn they put that you remain in combat for 8 seconds after being recently damaged by a player.. THANKING FU**KING GOD THEY DIDN'T PUT THAT SHI* FOR PVE. Atleast in PVE it's 3 seconds... the same as before. But in pvp....8 seconds is a long time to wait for Overrun crit to add damage to any attack you'll be putting out(with First strike). Final thoughts? CHANGE IMPACT SHOT TO THE WAY IT WAS, BUFF LURKERS ASSAULT, CHANGE THAT ANNOYING 8 SECOND REMAIN IN COMBAT HAMSTER. I also really don't mind the GWF's roar, it's actually VERY helpful considering you are a gwf and it gives determination and interrupts your target, and if you are the gwf build on a gwf...takedown and roar and the only (annoying) spells. Not to mention its 50000000000000000% worse when the GWF is GF build.... :( Now that's sad, very sad, This is my personal opinion, that a GWF is GF build... it ruins the originality in all classes, they should not do that, For example it seems as if the devs were just lazy. Do something do GWF like what you did to the Control wizards... give them new spells, dont just copy old ones and give them to an already EPIC class.

    be careful to what you ask and think that not all people like your combat stuffs.
    however, nerfs are coming like always so i dont even care anymore.

    I think my TR would survive if and when they nerf stealth. It wouldn't hurt me if they nerfed damage to the 10ft under...I already have close to NONE :(

    I'm going to have fun with my Black Ice gear while I can. I'll rage when they nerf Radiant Enchantments.

    stealth is not changing any time soon.
    that means no more dps or any buffs.
    so tank tr or perma for pvp are the top options

    Guys, what they do with a bile? After patch, 16% of damage will be not after 4 sec right or what?

    no bile is same just some bug.
    after 15 sec sometimes it used to tick again now its fixed.

    Too bad it's still not the bug fix for Bilethorn DF, where it ticks once after 4 seconds, and another after 8 seconds.
