The leaderboards hardly tell us about personal skill. It's more a you-choose-your-premades wisely sort of thing. If you pug at all, it's a vain cause to attempt to even be in the top ten pages...coz every time a pug goes AFK, you will drop 5 hard-earned pages. I doubt the best combat TR would be any higher on the rankings, since it's a whole new premade sandbox where combat TRs are generally unwanted.
Edit: we're doing this thread again apparently. this might be interesting
Ok I'm only posting this to show that you can actually get high on the leaderboard with pugging, (90% of my matches on this screenshot are solo queued, and btw this is 3 weeks old). I think I queued with a few friends maybe 5 times usually got full premades vs us and lost . Yea TR is godmode class in solo queue and I suck at the game got carried by OP class vs pugs etc ^^. Some ppl have a better win/loss ratio than me and still are lower because the game actually rewards you if you solo queue and you get higher ranks easier.

i saw u solo q with rank 6 gear lesser bile.
i got with solo pug to very high on page 2 but then something went wrong now cant get past 5,6
to many dc,bad teams,hr,gwf impossible to beat.
now eather its very easy win or impossible to win.
since keltz0r,keliandra and f2pma posted their ranking other permas are welcome to post their to.
so we can see how combat and perma compare
That's a welcome thought, hopefully we can stay chill, combat and permas are like oil+fire
On that note, I've been both. I don't know about these guys but my luck in pugging is absolutely way out of proportions. From page 9 to 24 but I was perma at the time. I'm a combat TR now, so we'll see how this goes eventually.
Combat TR since beta. I tried perma for about 3 hours once and I didn't like it at all. Personal choice and nothing else and I have mad respect for good permas. I've been hovering mostly between pages 5-10 (60%) of the time, 2-4 (30%), and as high as 32 (10% of the time usually associated with a bit too much to drink). 99% pugs.
Combat TR > Perma TR to get the double and triple kills tasks and other killing/assist related tasks.
You basically get your kills, die, respawn, rinse and repeat.
My highest was like page 9 (With perma) then once I got bored of it and switched to lashing blade vorpal I dropped tremendously (100ish pages). 100% Pug and casual player. There's your difference. Combat Rogue = More kills = Easier Bloodthirsty title. But terrible in leaderboard. Perma is the other way around.

The main difference is that a good perma can carry a bad team. As long as the enemy doesn't have an equally skilled TR or GWF to tie 4/5 of your team to one node, you can just troll enemy base forever, keep bleeding their points and eventually win the match.
Won matches = better leaderboard scores.
On the other hand, a combat/striker TR would have that scare factor but that only works against CW and HR. Basically if you can one shot a handful of people in the first five minutes of the game, they would end up AFK. Get at least one enemy to AFK and you win the match.
The chances of making an enemy quit by brutal offense compared to carrying a pug team by capturing nodes is much slimmer.

if im concerned you are the best combat tr as of now.
perma's will always be higher on the leaderboard, i dont know if its because they have a higher k/d ratio or what it is. my highest ranking was page 28, since then i have dropped to i think page 58 and that is with probably 40 wins and 5 losses. one would think you would go up a few pages not drop with that big of a win/loss difference and i was always in the top three places in each of those matches.
they really should remove all the non lvl 60's from the leaderboard, my husband just started a DC and was on page 4 at lvl 16 lol

Gloom level 60 Control Wizard
Dusk level 60 Trickster Rogue
Dawn level 60 Devoted Cleric
Eclipse level 60 Hunter Ranger
Wrath level 60 Great Weapon Fighter
Jinx level 60 Scourge Warlock
Anyway maybe I was just lucky but here: http://postimg.org/image/xg7sfureb/full/
On another note, I am planning combat with the deflect idea I first read from RustLord. If I can ever create a thread I want to share my thoughts :P

Why the hell does it only go by my NW join date, sigh.
pag, 6 up from pag 600. Just pugging. ShinAngyo.@rayrdan
@edit. sorry didnt read about combat only. Still useful to realize that pugging is the answer.

If your goal is to net kills then this is the dope for you man.
If your goal is to win 5v5 then look elsewhere.
You basically get your kills, die, respawn, rinse and repeat.
