Ok so was in a losing pvp match score was like 10/300 or so.The other team had out geared by a lot so ppl stopped leaving safe zone.So i was like where done and went to the bathroom was gone for less then 10 min.If your gone for more then 10 min the game marks you as afk and you get booted sometime after that. But i wasn't booted from the game.I was booted from the match and to top it off i got the plenty for leaving the the match.

I get this is a good thing to keep ppl from going afk.But how long is the timer till you get booted? When did they put this into the game?I look at the patch notes ever week and don't recall seeing it in there.

It was few months ago, since the day we've known about what is tenacity. I believe it's 5 mins as the time to be marked as AFK in PvP (not so sure because they didn't say the exact time in that patch note).
    Detail about the penalty :
    PvP Leaver Penalty

PvP Domination matches aren’t as exciting when one or more of your team members leave during the middle of an intense fight for control points. With upcoming changes, we’ll be implementing a leaver penalty feature to encourage players to fight for every Glory point until the match is over.

You will be penalized for leaving PvP matches except in the following cases:
    - 2 minutes have gone by and there are 3 or fewer players left on your team.
    - The match is over.

If you attempt to leave your party during a time that you can be penalized, you will be presented with a confirmation window that tells you how long you will be penalized for. If you cancel your attempt to leave, you will remain in the match and not be penalized. If you accept the penalty, then you will be removed from the match and incur the penalty.

30 min is too long time.. this do not resolves the problem...

they should do ppl whit the same GS fight.. not 16k againts 8k... thats why they leave pvp...
in brazil we have a sentense for this...

means make a bad decision.. who dont resolves nothing.. just let worse..

If people disconnect, you should be able to leave match.

If 1 person has left and/or one or 2 disconnect, I have to ask leader to boot them so I can leave without penalty.

Thanks for the info.I knew about the leaving penalty just not the afk boot.Thats what i was asking when did they put it into effect?Because after the leaving penalty was put into effect I know ppl was mad about others going aft at campfire. It would of been nice to know so i didn't get a 30 min band for getting booted. So thought I'd come here and ask .So others could know about it and not get the boot.I looked on the forums for it but didn't see anything on it.

Don't go AFK in PvP. I think it's like 5 minutes before you get the boot. 2 would be a good time IMO, anything more than 2 minutes should be insta kick/debuff. But less than 2 minutes would be a little harsh I think.

If they could implement something so that you cant get booted if you have all 3 bases. I cant tell you how many times i have gotten kicked while waiting for the points to tick out because the enemy team is in campfire and im just sitting on my horse waiting....

In this instance I highly recommend getting up into the enemy spawn and harassing them until they come out :). Offer 1v1s first of course! But if thy don't accept.... Force them to!! :)

It's for their own good, they obviously need the practice

Just that this is a petitionable offense, since you aren't supposed to be there, if it was, the 'Pro' and 'Elite' PvPers wouldn't fight in the map anymore, but only on spawn.

Ah - the insufferable arrogance of the 'Leet PvPer'. Rules don't apply to them - oh no. Rules are for lesser mortals.
    Jenna Sunsoul - Justice Tankadin
    Aelar Hawkwind - Archer
Karrin Feywinter - Mistress of Flame
    Errin Duskwalker - Executioner
    Darquess - Soulbinder

Yep something is wrong with the automated kick-off. I got kicked once when I was not AFK at all, neither at campfire. Just running around trying to find an empty base that I could cap.
