"Unable to authenticate:"

Hi guys,

The problem is like this:
I tried to change to the other character and the system logged me off... After that, when trying to login again, I've received just the following message:
"Unable to authenticate:"
Everything is verified under Steam (cache files and all)
Is my account hacked somehow?

    Having the same issue, but I doubt your being hacked

    I am also having the same issue. I tried to change my password, and it is still giving the same message. Whats the beef?

    tried to login now on the web gateway and they post a message of maintenance...
    "Neverwinter Gateway is currently undergoing maintenance. Please try again later."

    i got the same message i change character i got drop it says Unable to authenticate. cane pw pl fix ty

    Well apparently it's down at the moment... It really sucks because not 5 minutes before I had purchased Zen!

    I mean I know that's a once in a life time event but sheesh! But they're usually pretty fast with these things so I'm hoping it wont be too long.

    maybe its because of new driver updates

    Or maybe it's because the event ended yesterday and they haven't had chance to remove it because that'd involve taking the servers down in order to do so.

    now the client goes with this message:
    "Neverwinter is currently offline. We are aware of this issue and currently working on bringing the server back online as soon as possible."
    But the server status is up (ONLINE!?!)

    No one can get on? In the admin post they said it was "some users"....

    Maybe there are still people online, if they just force kicked everybody off then they'd get somewhere lol.

    I swear this always seems to happen to me, I invest money in something like this and then the server goes down for however long so I can't even access the **** thing xD

    I was also ABOUT to buy another two character slots... Postponed. LOL

    Well luckily I had only put money into my Steam account so I didn't even get the chance to transfer it to Neverwinter yet lol.

    Well I'd do that but I haven't mastered how to make good AD yet and I only have one lvl60 character plus I also wanted to get another War Hound since I can't transfer this one.

    Annnd now it's doing some file verification thing :confused:

    It still says that it's offline though so I don't know if I dare risking transferring to Zen yet.
