This is a little detail which has made me cringe for months now.
The order of the drop down menu has all of the highest ranking enchantments at the top of the list. These are the least likely enchantments I am willing to use for RP!
The drop down button is really all but useless because it takes less time to click and drag desired enchantments into the slots than scroll through the mess of higher end enchantments, shards and marks I have on my character and in my bank.
It's a little detail but it effects me every day particularly when I am out on the field of battle and want to quickly gain some inventory space without having to look through my inventory slot by slot.

I'd rather have a sorting option (it can be just another button under "clear all" that reverses the list, and most important thing, remembers the last state it was in) :P
However IMO that is a situation where clicking and dragging wouldn't be an issue because you are sitting down and planning to refine. The reason I bring this up is because of all the rank 1-5 enchantments I get while doing quests that I have to hunt down in my inventory while questing in order to free up inventory slots.
Options are nice and I wouldn't be adverse to more options but options take a lot more programming than simply reversing a display order. IMO reversing the display order would be far more beneficial far more often than the limited scenario you are considering.
We need "matching" enchantments (the ones that would give a bonus) at the top (from highest rank to lowest).
...and THEN the remainder of the list.

I have all split enchants so that's a fact which I just tend to overlook. I don't get bonus RP, haha.
Likewise there should be an option that allows you to take a STACK of say 2-99 enchantments and dump them all into 1 slot combining all the refine points.

What they should do is to allow stacking on refining enchantments. We all have tried refining an artifact using a thousand enchantments, and I seriously considered sending them my medical bills after that process. 5 slots at one time, 1000 enchantments, that's 200 drag and drop actions!!
Instead, they should allow stacking, so I can stack an enchantment to 99, drag them all into one slot, and have it refine all 99 of them. That way, I can do 5 slot of 99-stacked enchantments, much simpler.
