You dorks on chat or something coordinating an anti-Pathfinder barrage during downtime?

With the nerf to splitshot, all HRs have to go tanky and Pathfinder. Enjoy.

Why can't we be tanky and stay SW? I like spinning like a silly fool with my blades.

Yup I confirm that Pathfinder HR can 1 v 1 anything on node.

The only thing that can stand a chance beating them is a well geared/skilled GWF. Or another Pathfinder HR.

Any TR would get killed by Pathfinder HR, it is worse than fighting the pre-nerfed version HR.

if 2 pathfinders fought against one another, it would be a stalemate:

Can't wait to see those premades with 3 pathfinders instead of 3 GWFs.

The other team will probably die before even leaving spawn.

Good thing I got my blood crystal for my stormwarden now so I don't have to endure any more getting slaughter by PFs.

Unlike other classes SW brings zero use to pvp.

How that? Which rotation? PF will have the first hit. Then it's a fight between two chars of equal strength but one is starting the fight half-life.

What is this Pathfinder ability that takes half the health of a GWF in one hit?

    Bear trap?

    Doesn't this sound familiar?*cough-TR-cough*

Yeah it's pretty much the same situation as the TR nerfs.

You take away the big hitting damage and the class falls back on defensive abilities, which were probably better in a domination setting anyway.

It's exactly the same situation. And all nerf cycles end up with the same result. Take away the 'OP' abilities (in this case Split Shot and Fox Shift) and the playerbase will react by finding another way to leverage the class. In the end everyone gets driven to the same choices.

What's going on is that PF HRs have an at-will called Careful Attack. It can proc every 1.5 seconds it is active. It does roughly 1k damage. So if you use a DoT enchant and used Aimed Strike, this procs every time it can, then you throw in the fact that it is a damage debuff against you and they're also using Thorn Ward to debuff your defense... it's a nasty combo.

The issue with HR's in PVP. The biggest hit of all, is that they keep their opponent from attacking as well as a GWF and much better than a CW ever could... And from a range. You can't close in. You can't run. I guess it depends on their build.
The specific one that I encounter causes me to not be able to attack or move every other second. which means I can't generate AP and if I do Happen to begin to cast, they dash = I miss. then I'm stuck once again. I have the most tenacity available and still get blocked from attacking longer than I do from any CW I've ever run into.

That's Constricting Arrow. Most HRs carry it. You can actually dodge the three 'stuns' it generates, or use the gaps between them to attack/heal/run, with the correct timing. It's useless against a GWF using Unstoppable or a Rogue using ITC as well.

I watched two top level HR's 1v1. Zzzomg.... It's just like the old pre tenacity Sent GWF fights or any DC/DC fight.

Can you enlighten a not-so-much-into-PVP guy what Pathfinder changed/introduced to justify this thread?

Thought it was visible and simple enough:

The damage from the cactus they can plop down on a point and the duration it lasts is totally game breaking for domination as well. It's get off the point or die, and if there is more than one it's die real quick.
