Overflow XP rewards

After getting a few extra level rewards on some of my guys I've come to post a gripe or two about it. We were told (and still are) that the overflow rewards would include a power point each level and then an additional reward (peridot, rank 3's, RAD, whatever). My problem here is that only the very first level added a power point, the second and third and so on for every character has resulted the same. I collect the reward and I get JUST the additional reward (not the power point).

Can I get some confirmation here? Is it true that we are suppose to get a power point EACH level or are we just doing it for a peridot every week or two? Figured I'd post here instead of a bug report because I'm not entirely certain this isn't WAI (I've heard people who asked about it rebuked by being told "everything is WAI".)

We were never told we would get a power point every level. You have a chance to get a power point each time.

When Module 3 goes live, players who have hit level 60 will continue to gain experience points just as they would prior to hitting the level cap. Once you accumulate 250,000 XP you will get an Experience Reward that can contain: Enchants, Refinement Items, account Bound XP Scrolls, Rough AD, and Power Points.

It does not guarantee that every experience reward will contain a power point. Furthermore, while there is no limit to the number of rewards you may obtain, you can ONLY obtain 20 power points via experience rewards.

    Only? :-D
20 seems like a huge number of extra power points to me. You'd have practically the whole tree.

and I thought we just got the one the first time.

Awesome. I quite happy with that.

Giving us power points as a reward is pretty clever - it allows us to try out all those powers we may have passed on, on our way to 60, and in the end, it won't unbalance things, (like how giving us more feats would).

Power Points will no longer be rewarded when the player gains enough to rank every power up to 3

So I assume it was changed to give us the ability to rank up everything instead of 20 extra points max?

20 points does max out everything.

The power point reward is randomly awarded (along any other reward items/RAD) every time you accumulate 250k xp. So far, I've completed five (or was that 6?) and have gained 2 power points. I blame RNG :p

Surely the rewards needs to be reworked then?

I agree getting something is nice at the end of a Extended level but to give rank 4 enchant x3 or 1000 Rough Ad which i have gained is shocking to say the least

    Shocking?

Shocking to get something where you got nothing before?

    Duh....
    Hoping for improvements...

Well, as stated above, it is undoubtedly better than the previous reward of a warm cup of jack squat.

As far as I'm concerned a single peridot or 4 rank 3 enchants is roughly equivalent to jack-squat. I say at least have a chance for bound wards or a decent RP gem. It's a little frustrating to get these crappy rewards level after level...

It's also most likely to keep from inviting exploitation of the feature by keeping the rewards modest. It wasn't intended to be something game breaking.

Wether you like the random rewards or not...of just not getting what you want...it is nice there is some reward for post 60 exp no matter how trivial you consider the reward.

The rewards are fine if you just get them through the process of running dailies because it's something you wouldn't have otherwise. However, if you are trying to farm them by just running every possible level 60 quest everyday, then you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Accept what you get as you go about your normal NW activities and don't worry about it.
