I just wanted to ask if anyone noticed if the probability of obtaining the tier 2 chest from Temple of the Spider dungeon delves is different than the other dungeons or classes. A few people are complaining that the tier 2 chest does not "like" to drop. Could the developers have changed the drop rate as a way of pseudo-nerfing the set? Have all the tier 2 drop rates gone down because of the key system?
Tier 2 dungeon delve chests:
10% - drops the T2 set armor/weapon piece the in game description says (note each class has 3 sets)
20% - drops the other T2 ring/necklace/belt piece the in game description says
50% - drops a random T1 piece your class can use (armor, weapon or otherwise)
20% - drops a random usually junk purple from the endboss in the area
I got my T2 chest on my first run with my DC (months ago), and on my 2nd run with my CW a few days back.
Or did you mean the chest armor piece actually dropping as boss loot? I dont have any info about those numbers.
These numbers for the chest are still accurate, as for the boss dropping BoE T2, the odds of that are 5% and probably even much lower. This is to keep people from farming T2's they can do quickly for stuff to sell on AH. The purpose of the dungeons is to gear up, not profit, apparently.
