massive rubberbanding on icewind pass

What is the problem with these servers ?
New module comes out and there is a major rubberbanding problem on icewind pass .
Can't even move 2 steps forward in the space of 10 mins .
Major screw up here .
Please fix / take down server ASAP .
Not what we want to see AGAIN so early after new module start ............

Well there was an issue with this on the Preview server as well. I had thought they had fixed it, but it apparently is still an issue in Icewind Pass.

System wouldn't let me change character when I was " stuck motionless " with my toon in icewind pass .
Had to shut down launcher .
Restarted launcher and it's back to the slow patch detection situation where it is now waiting to give me the play button ( took mins to get to play button activation ) .
Getting disappointed again after all the time spent before in preview hopefully trying to prevent all this RE-OCCURING .........

I have the same problem here buddy. I'm from Brazil and got some friends of my guild with the same issue,I guess we will have to wait Till Cryptic detect and solve the problem.

Please check the rubberbanding sticky and perform the tests outlined there so that you have a look at how the route from your PC to the game servers is performing, as opposed to merely assuming that the problem is with Cryptic.

I performed the first test earlier and now and the highest value was 93. I never had conection issues like that,all the others small problems were gonne by just rebooting the pc. There are other players with exactly the same problem as mine and they live in different cities and even different countries.

Haven't had any problems this bad for a very , very long time .
All this happening straight after another major patch - suspicion for me is not on my side .
The patch has given me other issues so far .
Rubberbanding on most other zones I have tried running on multiple toons .
Completed Dread forge on 3 toons today so far and it then tells me that i have also completed " Biggrins rest " , nice accomplishment seeing as NONE of the 3 are even qualified nor able to go to Icewind dale yet .

Yes, a route problem. Saying "I can play this or that game just fine!!" does jack squat for diagnosing an issue with rubberbanding with THIS game. Why? Simple. The data from your PC to the Neverwinter game server takes a completely different route than the data from your PC to Blah Blah MMO.

There is more to your connection than your ISP and Cryptic's ISP. Your data has to travel though regional hubs and datacenters, possibly transoceanic lines, repeaters, etc. A problem with ANY one of those and you're having connection issues that haven't a thing to do with either your ISP or Cryptic.
