That just removed the stuff like "Left Channel "Zone", You have been Marked as away from keyboard, Person has joined the party, Reward collected which are yellow messages on my screen. The Lockbox spam comes up as "Admin" messages and are orange in color but there isn't any "Admin" listed in the chat window options nor is it possible to open another window so I can have one window thats only party/guild chat and spam/zone/lfg/loot on the other window. I have 6 tabs:combat, loot, zone, trade, chat, lfg and the Admin lockbox messages show up on every tab.
Yeah, you can't remove those from the chat window, but you can move the messages from the center of your screen elsewhere if you want to by rearranging your HUD.
Okay, I apologize, I thought they were yellow (system messages) - I don't remember exactly because I (personally, of course) find them rather easy to just tune-out. I rarely ever notice them and never read them.
I'd love to see an analysis done on how effective that "advertising" really is -- I have a feeling it probably annoys and pushes AWAY customers more than it "entices" them.

I think it entices them. It shows that people are winning and now you also want to win.
But it also annoys players from the whole lockbox thing there is that small part

some of us are of the mindset; it's free but worth paying for this game, chuck em a few $. Oh and because they offer ingame promissory notes might as well open these things. wow bonus.
Subscription model might be dead and buried but so is the slave labor market when it comes to entertainment.
Kudos to the Neverwinter team, it's actually not that bad of an experience.
