Hey all,
So I haven't played the game since the release of Feywild, just logged in and I'm sitting at 11.5k GS or so. I just wanted to ask what I should do to gear up for the current dungeons, as I see everyone's around 14k+ GS. Also, I had a lightning enchantment in my sword and now it's gone o_O. I checked my bank, my alts, etc and it seems to have disappeared. Also, is there a guide explaining the new refinement system? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

    First thing to do go to Knox , he will have a quest that gives you the basics of enchantment refining and a quest to get your first artifact.

    Best way to quickly inflate your gear score is with the new artifacts. Get your hands on a few then feed in a mountain of enchants to rank them up.

    OP, if you left around the time Feywild came out, make sure to also talk to Knox to get introduced to the Dread Ring - it, like Feywild, has boons that can add a few hundred stat points, too.

    Welcome back!

    The Artifacts bonuses have added to Gear Score, more Boons from the Dread Ring (Mod 2 in Dec'13) have added to Gear Score, and some Active Companion bonuses added to Gear Score... So I'd recommend researching all that, and enjoying the "new" content and get ready for the Icewind Dale Mod 3 expansion on May 13th! :D

    After you get your starting artifact. Like the others have said, make sure to get on over to the dread ring and start working your way up to the highest gauntlet. It gives a chance for another artifact.

    Also use ctl-j to look at each of the starting artifacts to see which one would be best for your character.

    Gear score ranges vary a lot by class and build.

    Only one planned is for the ranger class. That will finally give them a second one. If we see any others, it most likely wont be till module 4.

    So everytime I tried to use LFG for a party, everyone was asking 14k+ for runs that I've all cleared like T2, CN, etc...How does one even find a party these days with these crazy gs requirements

    Give the legit channel a try - folks tend to be more welcoming with regards to who they invite, and less concerned with gear score...
