Some Of The Rules I've Figured Out About PvP.

Here are a few rules I have figured out about pvp, that apply over 80% of the time.

1. If the opposing group focus' you, they are using tactics. If you focus someone in the opposing group, you are a coward.
2. If You defeat someone 1v1 you are lucky, If someone defeats you 1v1, you are a Bad.
3. If someone can not defeat you 1v1 on a node after several tries, you are an op wallet warrior. If you lose several times to someone on a node, you are a bad.
4. You must suffer every derogatory name known to man, in private tells during matches, before you ever get a compliment.
5. If you kill someone a gwf is fighting you are a kill stealing worthless hack. If the gwf kills someone you are fighting, it's teamwork.

Feel free to add your own PvP rules, and understand that this is just a thread for fun.

I'm HR and I don't get insults almost never, when you are facing a newbie team and end with 20+ Kills or when I die a lot, one time I just get killed like 4 times in a row in 1v1 by another HR (was not planned, just happened because we kept going to the same place of the map) and got a compliment because he said that the fights were fun as hell (for me too). I've been insulted very few times and were stuff like "HAMSTER" lol.

Yeah I was fighting a GWF 1 v 1 on my low end TR, 9.6k. The GWF was using a Perfect Vorpal and other crazy enchants. This GWF was literally 3 v 1 people on my team, and had about 30 kills and 0 deaths. I get to the point were it's a 1 v 1 versus the GWF, and I kill him after a lengthy fight. Next thing I know my chat box is being spammed with tells from this guy, "You suck", "I'm 30-1 lol", "You just got lucky", "Nobody on your team can 1 v 1 me and you wouldn't be able to if you fought me again". Just like that but some of the messages were in all caps.

This community really needs to chill out. PvP matches are only about 10-15 mins long and you can just re-queue for another.

    Wow, you too? ;)
I hear "learn to play" all the time, but it seems to me that it should be defined as "my class is balanced, except when others beat it, then THAT class is OP"...

well the best one for me was like this

A overgeared Gwf was focusing me almost all the time (im a Tr) and killing me when i wasn't ready or out or all my spells were on cd (lucky me..even dodge rolls were)

soon a msg came that i suck

so next time i kept my skills just for the gwf.. a couple of moments later i SE him to death. so msg came you #^#%@&* . made me happy and from then on the entire match i just kept my SE for that gwf only and everytime he was at 30% hp, i gave him extreme love from my daggers and from invi :D i got called scumbag, overpowered class, hacker and an ashewhole. he kept cussing but somehow it made me happy as hell

    6. If you distract the ENTIRE ENEMY TEAM long enough so the rest of your team can cap 2 points, then you're at the bottom of the scoreboard and you need to learn how to play.

    7. Leaving a GWF to 2v1 so you can cap 2 and win the game for your team makes you a <heavily censored string of insults> ****.

Edit: Strange how a word beginning with n and ending with b gets censored. Didn't know that.

I don't have these problems, since I don't read chat while I fight.

I know this is sort of a sarcastic thread that is supposed to be funny but at the same time take shots at a lot of PVP players who have soured your experience but I have not heard of this part. Usually, everyone agrees on focusing someone

pvp chat is one of the main reasons i do pvp.
there have been a few times i stopped playing because i was lmao while reading the comments and insults going on at pvp chat. :)

    my pvp rule:
when match start if u see two players from your team running to camp our team node while rest go to number 2 i know we already lost

Some random chat with a pug teammate about another 15k gs tr in my team, as the tr drags whole team from winning 200+ points ahead to 100+ behind (lost a 40 min match). That particular tr sent me this thing and i copy pasted to my pug teammate for some joke purpose.

I am a cleric, and what do you expect from me?? Tons of kills and 0 death?? Do you ever pvp?? Do you meet any cleric before?? Do you know never run away from red node when you are near death?? The most important part is: CAN YOU LISTEN TO CONSTRUCTIVE COMMANDS??!!

Btw, blocking ppl immediately after sending insults is really frustrating and annoying... I hope something can be implemented to prevent this, or at least delay the block for 5 minutes, for sending some message back of cuz, or report the player who insults you heavily.

This is the way to do it , use a modified channel when you pvp , turn off tells and local chat and only keep guild chat and party chat open problem solved , idiots trying to throw insults think you are blanking them , that leads to them getting madder and that means they make more mistakes usually .

One of the first lessons I learned in PvP. Zone chat off, party chat on, nice quiet matches. :)

If you're a TR who uses stealth, you're a coward.

I'm just poking fun at the people who criticize others for playing a class the way they're supposed to -using stealth. I don't play TR, but my TR guildmates seem to receive the brunt of insults from PvPers, who are often calling them "perma-stealth <<edited>>," etc.

sorry guys but a thread highlighting pvp trash talk, even in good fun, is the same as having a discussion about profanity. you can't really talk about it without typing it out and it's not constructive, not to mention not allowed.

trash talk is not uncommon in pvp. if it bothers you, turn off zone and say channels when pvping.
