All the old links go to the old site, but now you can't actually get information on the stuff in game. All you get is a pop-up to go to the ARC games site, and what you want to read is covered. The ARC Games site is almost impossible to navigate to find out specifics about the game, and the new forums are pretty useless.
We need someone to make the old info pages available to read, or create new versions of the old pages with the info. When that's done fix the links. ARC decided to screw things up so they should have had a solution already in place, but what we have is the usual corporate laziness.

I agree but really that should be a re-direct to the new page in the forums. So if the old postings are not imported into the new "arc" forums then the developers should get on the ball and port them over and instead of that notice that doesn't let you do anything it should link to the new site on the forum. Otherwise if that is more effort than a company wants to pay people to deal with then yes take that notification prompt away and let us view the old forum and its contents and put the re-direct/notice when you try to click login or post a reply.

There are no "old" and "new" forums.
The forums are the same and were seamlessly transitioned. Links to the forums should still functions just fine. Links from the forums to the main site do result in redirects in some cases.
If you have NoScript installed or some other sort of java-blocking utility that lets you restrict javascript on a per-domain basis, just prohibit scripts from akamai.net and you can browse the site (which hasn't been updated since Orc Assault 2.0) as much as you want.
Just remember to re-allow akamai.net before you try and use PWE's billing system.
Really, PWE, what's the deal with that anyway? You could have just removed the "PLAY NOW" button from the website and left the actual site itself alone. More than half the time, my Arc isn't even up-to-date with game news and I learn about new stuff from the Neverwinter launcher - which you eventually want to remove.

We've migrated pretty much all of the information from our old page onto Arcgames.com. You can use the search function to find any relevant posts you're looking for. The user experience should improve as well as we continue to grow Arcgames.com. Thanks for leaving your feedback!
I don't use Arc but keep getting tossed into the Arc forums when clicking on profiles. I find it too confusing imo you should stick with one or the other not both. Just my opinion and we all know, my opinion doesn't matter.
If you go to the gateway https://gateway.playneverwinter.com/
and click the "Back to the Neverwinter Website" link on the top left corner of the screen you are taken to the old site as well. http://nw.perfectworld.com/
which takes you only via obstacles to the ARC website.

The Forum Rules link on the website is a preset from VBulletin and is the default rules for all VBulletin boards.
They are not our rules and in fact when I pointed out that page existed to the Community Managers they had no idea it is listed. Needless to say those are not our rules and that link is required as part of the usage of VBulletin but is not something we will be using as our rules.
Despite the mild confusion that could pose having a sticky directing to the real rules in both General Discussion and News and Announcements is clear enough.

That will not change. The account profiles are PWE Account Profiles that spans all PWE Games. Even if you do not use the Arc Client the account profile is still a subset of Arc.
The website is part of Arc. These forums are Arc. Arc is not specific to just the client and most everything on the websites falls under Arc whether you use the client or not.

Maybe you should put a link to the PC Gateway client post haste?
and for some more "constructive feedback."
if possible change the fugly color palette back to the Neverwinter red/orange
have the news-feed/forums cover the whole screen, why do we need 1/4 of the screen blank on either side? is it for future advertising? if so, for shame.
the whole Arc site group seems poorly designed. I dunno, maybe having only the middle half of the screen show the site is really popular in the PWE office because they all have non-widescreen monitors. . .

At least, compared to
http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?420291-Neverwinter-Community-Forums-Rules-of-Conduct
which are obviously the forum rules as such.
Took some time to find them.
