Can we ever expect a deathmatch/survival PvP gametype?

Simple as that. This game is much fun, but it is very limited when it comes to PvP, especially competitive PvP. I know they're implementing matchmaking, ladders, etc., but I can't tell you how much a game can hook me in for so long with competitive PvP. I got really bored of raiding in WoW, but arenas never gave me the slightest bit of boredom. I'm not saying that it has to be exactly like arenas from WoW at all, but this game needs more PvP content to keep me hooked. I can definitely say that I know I'm speaking for a lot of others out there also. It seems like Cryptic really listens to their fans, so I'm hoping that this is heard, if it's not in the works already.

Deathmatch and survival are not possible as long as the perma-stealth rogue exists. In deathmatch if their team is losing they can just hide indefinitely. Stalemate. In survival, they just sit back stealthed while everyone else kills each other then fight among themselves to see who wins. Either 100% rogue winners or stalemate.

    Wouldn't work.

I would like something like this too, as it'd give those glass cannon no regen builds someplace they'd be viable. Also, if the map was smallish, compared to the number of people in it, perma stealth rogues wouldn't be able to hide as well, as a CW hitting his teammates with AoEs (a map small enough where AoE is viable) would pop him out. Anyway, regardless of how good class balance is, the idea by itself is good, and class balance would have to be looked at afterwards.

Make a perma-TR or a GWF, buy rank 10s and emblem artifact.

There, you are competitive at the top levels!

I would call the upcoming open world PvP map quite a deathmatch/survival map of which most non-PvP people will stay far far away. Maybe that'll keep you busy for a while.

its not open world, its a map like other map, but like 20% of it area is pvp, really small area it cant be called open world i guess

    LOL

This is actually ture, sadly... I have found emblem on TR is even better than on GWF now lol. My GWF feels more solid when just using water, only using emblem if I am doing premade.

True survival pvp could be fun, but they would never do it. Survival as n NWO meets dayz. Like a beefed up pvp foundry. You spawn naked and with nothing other than a small "crate of food". Your health automatically goes down about 10k hp every 30 minutes unless you use a "crate of food". Zombies of course, randomly attacking. Sometimes they drop a weapon or piece of armor when you kill them. Players drop their entire inventory. You die and you are out of the mission and have to start again with nothing. Ok, that would be more of a campaign, but it would be pretty simple, and I think, fun.

What a lot of you are saying about perma stealth TRs can be easily fixed from balancing. For instance, you can only stealth for a max of 30 secs in that gametype for other class viability. It's like you people look at how the game is now, and that nothing can be altered for other gametypes. Makes no sense and is not valid at all to what I had to say.
