Got an Enchantment, Rank 3 with an Adamantine Gauntlet today, which shouldn't be possible. Because I didn't touch the Coffer first I would assume the bug patched with NW.10.20140128a.4 is back.
The Dread Ring Arcane Coffer at the end of a Lair can now only be interacted by one play at a time but will now give rewards based on the gauntlet used to open it and not the lowest quality gauntlet used to open it.
I wonder if that's why all I seemed to get out of those things was peridots...

I've opened 102 arcane coffers in a day (1 purple and 101 orange) and i've drpped a lot of peridots and rank 3/4, 5 acquamarina, 6 mark of potency and 2 piece of thayan gear...

You didn't state which gauntlet you were using - Mithral or Adamantine. Which one were you using?
I gave up on the Arcane coffers , I used the Star metal gauntlets to get the artifact on my main and now the only reason I bother with the Dread ring is to get my alts of each class up to 3 boons so I can get the class artifacts in module 3 , I got tired of trash from the arcane coffer.Once module 3 is out I don't see myself going to the Dread ring again unless I'm getting a new class to IWD , there is nothing there to keep you going back once you get the artifact , I'll just do Sharandar dailies ( for fey blessing enchantment) and the IWD dailies lol

This means that fedo used one Adamantite, and one hundred and one Star Metal (they are purple and orange quality respectively).
Yeah, I always do them solo, it's quick and easy, even on my DC, and there are nodes to be harvested.
