Neverwinter Gateway down?

I seem to have issues logging into the Gateway

Firefox / Chrome

Are there any others having the same predicament?
It works if you're still inside, but does not once you are out of the gateway and try to log back in.

Problem: Either a blank page or if you can get the login page to show, it will not login and will show a forever loading screen/

    Add the Neverwinter client as well

    The launcher launches fine, server is "up"
    But attempting to login says "Too many attempts, please try again later.

    The gateway is working just fine for me. Was able to log out and log back in just fine.

    Hmm, guess it may be an issue on my side.
    Will try again in several hours.

    Whenever running into Gateway login issues I always fall back to Safari (on Mac) or MS Internet Explorer (Windows) because I find the Firefox and Chrome tend to break things sometimes. I recommend others do the same.

    As for ARC: it uses whatever you have set as your default browser, I believe; meaning if you have Chrome set as your default browser, then ARC will use the Chrome engine.

    (And in reply to the thread in general: I have been in and out of Gateway constantly since 4 AM this morning (Pacific time zone) with no problems, though I use Safari on my Mac when going there).

    Out of curiosity, the forums have been having kittens this morning too (in other words, random failures to load and such). I'm wondering if the occasional gateway outages may be connected. Just throwing that out there.

    Make me wonder if it's 'net-related. I've been bouncing around all things Cryptic (NW, STO, CO) all morning without so much as a hiccup. I am in Washington State, so relatively close (enough) to Cryptic compared to the rest of the world. -justwondering-

    I'm on the gateway right now. Using Firefox. I was able to claim my professions but it will not let me START new ones, just the endless circling icon...
