Love the Ghost Horse, but can it be made a little more visible?

I love that a ghost horse mount was added. I picked it up immediately, because it is almost exactly what I was looking for. That being said, it is a lot more see through than I was hoping it would be, (when compared to the announcement picture). Is there any chance that it can be made a teensy bit more visible? Below is a screenshot for reference.

Thanks!

Here is the announcement image, for comparison:

It can use a little bit more definition yes. But it has to remain seethrough. It wouldn't be a ghost horse otherwise. Thanks for sharing the pic. I was considering getting it myself.

Oh absolutely it needs to still be somewhat transparent. They could make the outline a little bolder, or otherwise just make it a little less see-through, (but still partially so).

Maybe they could also make the armor & saddle mostly solid - that'd be a nice contrast as well.

perhaps the example image looks the way it does because it has a dark background?

    cool mount either way. :D

I think you have a point. I went to the Whispering Caverns and took the below screeny - looks MUCH better:

One question: are you wearing any Enchantments that also can be affecting the look? Even though it's a green quality I see it is a Rank 2 (which is acceptable to me) - and I have my eye on that for my Warlock (when it makes it's debut, of course).

I see your point? Lol, wait, no I don't see it. Seriously, I agree, that mount looks sweet, but it needs a teensy bit less translucency. If you didn't know it was a horse in the 1st picture, I doubt you could identify it.

I'll be honest. I snickered a bit in a completely immature manner at the first pic. My very first goofy thought was that the wee cleric was riding a HAMSTER :D

My cleric has a lesser soulforged in her armor. I don't think that's the culprit, however - as the horse is more visible in a darker setting, (see the second screenshot I posted).

Henceforth, I shall call this horse "Silent but deadly"!

You're going to have to embrace your inner Goth and hang around with Drow more, I think.

Okay, so I grabbed one and I agree: It's TOO transparent. It should be more like the Ghost NPCs in-game. This is probably my first ever "buyer's remorse" in four years of buying stuff from Cryptic. I'm going to post a bug report just to be sure the Devs see the complaint about it.

I was going to post and ask earlier why there isn't a 'sample' available on display at the stables for players to see it for 'real' before deciding if we want to buy it? I thought they always display new Zen mounts in the stable...

Anyhow, cool mount..just don't understand the beard... :D

There *is* a sample ghost horse near the mount vendor... you just can't see it

While you're letting them know, can we get the stables expanded, or at least more mounts put there? The preview pictures in the Zen Market are lovely (compared to not having pictures) but don't quite do the mounts proper justice the way seeing them ingame does. Especially not if I'm going to spend $25, $35 or even $45 (Unicorn ahoy!) on a Zen mount.

Even just putting the mounts on a rotation, so that we see different ones every time the server comes up from maintenance, would be helpful.

What would be cool is if they did an instance in PE, similar to the Trade of Blades, where you could "test drive" mounts. Have a vendor that would give you a temporary mount token that would disappear if you left, but otherwise let you summon the mount, ride around and see what you think.

Perhaps instead of just a gathering of platforms, the Stables could have a building as well.

Or they could have it be a small instance w/ some mounts in pens that you can interact w/ to try them out, and a simply dirt track to run on, (maybe with some hurdles and stuff like that as well). Modify the mount quest to take you there, and really show off the Zen and lockbox mounts. They could keep the mount vendor in PE still.

NO please dont do that! this is just the feel of a minor part of the people that got it.

I ****ing love it as it is! I already spent 2M to upgrade it to 110% so if you change it everything will be ruined!

I agree that in-game "demo" models are definitely a plus. They did this in Champions Online and by doing it I could see what the costumes actually looked like in-game, which convinced me to purchase some them, costumes I never would have taken the plunge to purchase based on the Z-Store preview pictures alone.

Having some kind of stable where they could be modeled would be awesomely awesome on an awesome scale, for awesome sakes.
