Barkshield and DOT's

I've heard that DOT's remove barkshields stacks, is this true?

    Yes.

    But the thing is, if the dot proc within a short amount of time like within a second, then all dot would be blocked by barkshield.

    It is really good as in situation when u are getting focused by multiple enemy since the chances are each stack of barkshield would most likely block more than the dmg it claims on the description.
