From the description Forest Meditation rank 2 gives 100% deflection during the daily, however on rank 3 this effect is not present, i.e. rank 3 Forest Meditation does not give you 100% deflection; only regen and control immunity.
Not fixed in todays patch? does anyone from support read this?
I have yet to find a post in this area of the forum by developers (except once or twice in the stickied posts months ago and a couple older ones, maybe once every 5 pages) so I honestly don't know.
Yeah really. This was reported multiple times right after HR was introduced.

realized this today aswell. I've been using Forest Meditation instead of Forest Ranger because with the fix of Forest Ranger and Stormstep action now it doesn't reduce cooldowns at all not even the 3 seconds its supposed to.
ive also experienced this too. ive been doing a lot of pvp and from what i understand....deflection rating is make u ignore damage a large amount of incoming damage. so 100% should make you ignore 100% of it. but this doesnt work. im always getting gagged by TRs and GWfs. only the control immunity saves me.
I've been having issues with this as well, 100% deflect should mean taking no damage. or very minimal, yet I still get hit HARD when using it in PvE/P. That and forest ranger needs work as well seeing how it doesn't do the cooldown.

Lets say that you have 20% deflect severity. For the sake of the calculation lets say that the damage delt to your char is always 1000.
During forest meditation rank 3, on every attack you should recieve 20% of 1000, i.e. 200 damage.
However, as I said, right now the skill is broken, it does not deflect every hit.

When someone hits you for 1000 damage, 50%, or 500 damage is being deflected, the other 500 damage is being lowered by your defense.
So it's actually 1000*0,5*0,75 = 375 damage taken.
'Is this still bugged?' Well since people thought it would negate all damage the question is 'Was it bugged at all?'. I didn't test it, but from the little experience I have with Forest Meditation, I don't think it is, or ever was bugged.

I haven't tested it with the new patch, however the bug report is that there should be 100% chance to deflect, not that the deflection will negate 100% of the dmg. When I reported the bug the indicator that the damage is deflected was not showing; you know, the broken arrow indicator thingie right next to the damage number. Wheather the damage was deflected or not I can not be sure now, but I think that it was no indication in the "LOG" tab of beeing deflected.
