Dunno what they have done, had since release rubberbanded in pvp, pve has worked somewhat, then the patch with pvp que came, i stopped rubberbanding, and after todays patch where they said they fixed dc issues, lag / rubberbanding worse than ever, boss uses skill you see red on ground, 0.5 sec later dead. Done WoW raids solo with mates accounts on my comp, dual titan cards, 6ghz clocked chip, running at 20C, and 1gb line.
im having unplayable lag in pvp right now. was absolutely fine before patch. restarted my computer and turned off on demand patching we'll see how it goes
IS THERE A DEV AROUND HERE!!?? can we atleast get an explanation of what is happening? i understand technical difficulties , i just really want to get into the game. but i haven't patched in 6 days and now .....now i can't connect to the patch server to even get the launcher active!!

I'm having the exact same problem, been unable to connect since this morning, while I had no problems connecting yesterday.
Seriously, is this being discussed in another forum? I've looked, and haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else. I've seen a ton of people griping about bound items, and selling the Coins of Tymora to vendors before they were fixed in the auction house, etc. All legitimate issues, I'm sure.
But I just want to play the game. Is there somewhere that I can send my system config, or any way I can help the developers solve this problem?

Check the tech support forums or file a support ticket.
The forums are not the place to expect a developer or technical support response. The moderators will do basic troubleshooting if they can but an issue like this is above and beyond us and as the previous poster said is not widespread.
The only tip I can give you other than what I said in the first sentence is to ensure your firewall is not blocking access to the launcher.
Yeah, same here. This slideshow lag started about 6 hours before the patch with tymora's coin fix.
It's like you move somewhere and then you get teleported back...

Interestingly, I decided to download the arc games download client to attempt to install and run neverwinter through that instead of through steam which is what I've been using. Problem is, Arc game client also fails to connect when I try to log in there.
edit:
Good news, I was finally able to get the game to work, What worked for me was I completely killed the avast processes (doable if you go to the troubleshooting tab and uncheck the enable the avast self defense module. this will allow you to kill the avast processes, I also realized I had the program peer block running and exited out of that (which has been known to block one other online game I played for awhile). I then tried to open Neverwinter and it came right up like it was supposed to, I then restarted avast right away exited out of Neverwinter, started it again and it still worked. I then tried the same thing with peer block, and the game doesn't work again, so that was the culprit for me. However, it looks like I may be able to set peer block to open up the specific ports required to run Neverwinter.
yep, setting peerblock to allow ports 7000-7500 allows me to play Neverwinter without having to exit out of peerblock.

I'm having the same issue. Is there a separate forum where this is being discussed, or are there only a few of us having this problem?
