Lag issues in PE

How has no one started a thread about this yet?

Protector's Enclave is probably the laggiest part of all of Neverwinter.
It doesn't matter how good your PC is, or how low the graphics are set, I will get 25-30 fps there, regardless.
Would it be too much to ask for this to be optimized anytime soon?

I get there are a lot of players, but seriously, this is gnawing on my bones.
Navigating around or talking with NPCs is a pain in the buttocks.
My PC specs: Intel i7 3770k - 4.2ghz, 16 gigabytes RAM, GTX 760 overlocked, game saved on an SSD.
I sure run Crysis just fine on very high, so this is obviously and optimization problem.
I get that Enclave' is supposed to be the shining diamond and all, but it's really annoying how incredibly laggy it is.
Am I the only one around here?

    The laggiest part is Dwarf King - I always rubberband there.

    Never had lag in dungeons, or otherwise crowded PvE areas.
    Literally, the only place I lag is PA.

    during winterfestival, i hardly saw PE . Maybe a mailbox in dread ring and sharandar would help .
    p/s: everyone hates sharandar.

    The lag and rubberbanding is kind of getting unbareable at times ..... please look into it .

    WELL i am very excited about mod 3 and pvp changes..... BUT if you dont work on getting the servers more stable the new mod is useless
    sorry i am being harsh but wanted to bring up this fact

    I can run for 2 minutes, just to rubberband back to the start

    I can read chat, but not type or change channel (with /p or /g)

    Often I can not even log off or change character.
    I press "change character", confirmation, and nothing phappens.

    Ping is below 200, no packet loss.

    Weird!

    Just to say, I do not disco after 20s as usually if the connection is bad.

    I think it would be good if they added an outpost.. With a campfire (yay no yammering priestess!,) Mailbox, Bank, and a couple of vendors, and quest managers like Rhix's assistant. Basically a second enclave, but smaller and not so busy. I have to think that a lot of the lag is people loading in and out of map, either on quests/dungeons, or just cycling alts at the Shrine to Invoke and set tasks for professions.

    P.S. If I had a campfire and a nearby mailbox, I'd almost never have to go to P.E. I wouldn't care if it was in a deep dank dungeon.. =)

    k, we cleaned castle never. i'd like to live there.

    Check your launcher settings and see if on demand patching is on or off. If on then turn it to off.

    Couple things I want to point out here:

    1. Devs can't do anything about IT or server issues. That's a separate team altogether.

    2. Latency can be caused by a laundry list of issues, 99 percent of which haven't a thing to do with server stability or anything that Cryptic/PWE can directly influence.

    3. There just so happens to be a stickied thread at the top of this very sub-forum posted on how to help diagnose issues with lag and rubberbanding. I'd strongly suggest using it before raging at the devs or company.
