In D&D no class is required to use the top armor for their class. Rather any armor equal or lower can be used. Why not bring this to Neverwinter? There is a lot of QQing in the barracks about GF viability. Why not let them use Avatar of War if they so desire? Why should'nt TRs and Hrs have access to the same sets? Or DCs and GWFs for that matter? It would add a lot of diversity to builds not just from the 4 set bonuses but the point distribution on sets. Ok CWs are still stuck with cloth. Is anyone really worried about CW viability?

This would be really interesting! It is too complicated to go through, but it's kind of a cool idea.
I could imagine my TR in royal guard and having encounters never coming off cooldown, or my GF smashing face in AoW, or imagine a DC wearing Titan set - ZOMG!
anyway, worth considering.
CW stuck in cloth? I can 3 man CN, 2 man everything else, and be the only CW in the party and still win - nothing to cry about.
if another class can use knight captain, then there is no reason for GFs to exist, but there is no reason for GFs to exist anyway, so it doesn't matter at all

well first if they did it like DnD than nobody else is at plate so nobody else could wear KC. But I would be willing to make an exception. +60% power on a conq build (yes it stacks, tested it)? Are you kidding? Please give someone else KC. And Ambi? The number of 3 Cw 2 GWF parties kind of says game ballance went out he window some time ago. I'm suggesting we bring it back.

LOL new patch they getting buff I can see GF become more useful than before, just don't expect it to be op like GWF.
Which it won't be OP anymore, it is strong but at a acceptable level.
But with CW and DC being trashed to the ground I guess you could say it is still OP lol.
