Posted this to the Bugs in game, however just thought I'd mention this: My wife and I have had great fun working with our half-orcs to make them look more orc-like, so the weapons in the Orc Assault were a "must have" item. Switched my Delzoun Sword to the maul and the glow remained a sword, making the maul a hammer with a yellow sword sticking out of it. This did not happen with her control wizard's orb turning into a skull; the skull was golden just like it should have been, not a skull with a glowing ball in the middle of it.
This is not the first time I've seen this. I've also seen this on a guardian fighter with his hammer. This particular enchantment seems to often revert to a "default" glow of a specific sword. I have yet to see any other weapon enchantment do this (not that I use many).

It is already a known issue after a transmutation, but is minor and is on their "honney-do" list along with other low-priority items.
To fix it, simply put the item in your inventory and then reslot it. Otherwise, I've seen where the weapon enchant needs to be reslotted after a transmutation as well. Will cost 2.5 gold to test that though.

Never pay to re-slot a Brilliant Energy. Just destroy it and then reclaim another one from the agent.
