Lesser Soulforged vs Normal Soulforged

I did a search, found older threads and didn't want to necro them.

So, is there really much of a difference between the two, i am debating just using the lesser. But would like to ask the community their advice.

The difference in the hp heal and health regen you gain is really not that much, from what i see anyway.

What people want from Soulforged is its ability to raise them from the dead and not exactly the heals it provides after resurrecting. Lesser works just as well. It's just as OP as the higher ranks of SF. Now if SF had reduced cooldown per increased rank, then I guess that'd merit investing on higher ranks. But sadly it doesn't, so in my opinion it will not make or break your play style if you settle for a Lesser.

Not to mention the smoke it produces is annoying.

Unless you're already running r9's and a P vorpal and play nothing but PVP, you can skip upgrading soulforged (for now).

Lesser soulforged= mandatory. Anything more= wasted AD.

Small differences, but depending on your guild it can be the difference of being killed as soon as you revive or not. Personally I'd rather there was a 1-2 sec wait before ressing to so the same attack cant kill you twice.

I would consider myself to be pretty geared, 16k CW and only running a lesser SF, my PvP HR has a normal SF only cause I had one lying around since pre mod 2, my AD is better spent somewhere else, like leveling artifacts.

If I want to upgrade my SF, it's pretty much for the looks.

Have the gear and skills, but lack the friends to play with? Come and apply for Essence of Aggression. We have been here and strong since beta. (Immature, rude, and arrogant people will not be accepted)

Meh, SissyForge is for sissies, anyway.

If you can't beat someone with the same 1 life, then you've already lost.
Stop making excuses. Be a man.
If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

    If you only PVE, lesser.

Otherwise depends on how rich you are.

Soulforge is getting nerfed heal wise anyway in the pvp patch so any version of it aside from lesser is pointless ,,

I like having more heals after res. If I die it's because I got stunned or whatever and while I'm waiting for the annoying little bit of time before I can actually move my character again, I'm more than likely in a big ol' puddle of red. More healing = better chance of not dying a second time. I have a greater though. I notice a difference with it but when I went from lesser to normal I didn't notice much of a difference.
