So last night my wife and close friends decided to try our hand at MC. To cut to the chase, it was a success. We one shotted every boss including the dragon at the end with no wipes. Below was our group makeup and GS's.
- Me DC 12.2k GS
- GWF x2 12.4k GS
- GF 11.5k GS
- CW 12.6k GS
I was actually really surprised we did so well. For the first two boss's I rolled with: SB/AS/Divine Glow. For the last boss fight I used: SB/AS/Healing Word ( which worked well ) I might swap out SB with Bastion of Healing next time. My crit is pretty high so that might work out better.
My question.. How does this instance compare to VT? I mean, considering we had not been in here before, and were so successful. Do you think we have a shot at VT?
Thank you for any insight!

It's critical that everyone get 3 or more caskets in the final stage/s.
We ran a 6min round last night....no caskets at all....straight nuke, but it was quite the team.
Once you know the process it's not too too bad. Keep DG on your healer and AS on the person who gets grabbed.
Cheers!
before the first rage phase , its just Val . between the 1st and 2nd phase, with good DPS there should be 2 rounds of caskets , max 3 ( if val's HP bar is close to 4, then ignore caskets and burn) and the 2nd rage starts . after that, close as many caskets as you can and burn her .
if it takes like 5-6 seconds for a bar of HP, in the last phase just ignore caskets and rapefais. thats how we do it . : O
I use Holy Avenger & Soul
Pretty much everyone else in the group has Plague fire + Soul ...
Obviously, with a GF and "2" GWF's .. Our DPS isnt as high as other groups who might roll with 2 CW's or a TR. But we make do.. They all are very good about avoiding Red Circles so that makes my life a bit easier!
Thanks for the advice!

Plague doesn't stack. Maybe advise one of them to switch to terror/bronzewood/vorpal (if you can afford it:)
