PvP videos not allowed? Thats just ridiculous!

When I saw that announcement I was really disappointed and discouraged. I myself love PvP videos, love making them and love watching others. But no! You had to make people stop posting them!?

I have been with PWE for over 5 years, played PWI a little and played Jade Dynasty for 4 years. I have been posting PvP videos in JD forums ever since. Actually, the GMs and mods encourage everyone to make and post more videos because they know its good for the company and people actually enjoy them yet here you discourage us? Thats weird.

Yes, alot of these threads have flame wars specially the OPs but thats a part of PvP. Sometimes these flame wars are degrading and has to be removed this why you have mods but most the times these arguments are civilized and meaningful.


In the end I would like to hear what you guys think about this issue I think it needs to be addressed

    As far as I can tell this forum has some stricter rules than most MMO's, you aren't allowed to post about players-by-name and PVP videos of your PM squashing pugs or even another PM likely violates that rule.

    The drama with Stox and the devs was something else entirely (didn't like his attitude?) but closing regular PVP video threads has become the norm. I suppose you could try and censor all the names in the video, then they might have a harder time saying it's against the rules.

    There is this place called youtube where you can watch and post all the PvP videos you like.

    Well thats just ridiculous no one is spending their time to hide names or PM a mod asking for post approval

    Basically just use youtube like the other guy said, they don't like the PVP videos posted here because even if names are left out of it (rarely/never) it still turns into a q.q. *****fest basically without fail. Nothing good ever comes of people gloating in posting them and people complaining about other HAMSTER (usually the OP's team) on the thread as well.

    PVP videos are allowed, however we have some guidelines in place to prevent unnecessary pvp drama.
