Castle Never: Draco Solo [Video]

Neverwinter: Castle Never - Dracolich [4th Boss Solo] - Nightxwing Trickster Rogue [14k GS]

This video was inspired by Kirito (SAO).

Since most people who runs CN are always looking for CW/DC; I decided to solo it on my TR. This way I won't get any drama with splitting/"ninjaing" loots and what not and spend my time looking for a capable group. I'm aware its a Perma-stealth TR and it's not something new to solo bosses, but I haven't seen any video of soloing Draco. No CS healing pots/resurrection were used in this fight. ENJOY!

The Draco Vid took 40m - The entire fight/clear getting to Draco took 20-30m. I wiped twice when doing Draco got him to 50 and 40% which took around 30m. The full final fight was 40m.

    edit: did you clear or stealth-skipped the mobs in between bosses? :)

    I can barely find a CN party that wants a pure DPS rogue...they'd take only a permastealth one :/

    But the question now is more like...why would a permastealth rogue want a party ? :D

    Nice job! Either way, still extremely difficult despite the fact that it is possible. Also, just because its possible doesn't mean this is viable to where it needs nerfed. I'm sure it took many tries and just the sheer length of time it would take to do these things solo, especially after making it necessary to kill instead of just running through the dungeon would make it silly to ridiculous to do this regularly. Not to mention I'm sure it would take anyone else doing this a much longer time due to less powerful gear. In addition, something like this could also easily be fixed without changing rogue gameplay mechanics by simply making (only) bosses able to target stealthed individuals.

    On a side note, I want see a vid of soloing Dread Vault final boss lol. ;)

    BTW are "CS healing pots/resurrection" the store bought items? Sorry if this seems a bit of a silly question but as I have never used them I don't know.....

    Very, VERY well-played, Nightxwingz! The skilled use in BnS just shows how much experience you have with this playstyle. Very impressive and well done!

    gratz!

    to some it might seem easy as a perma but i can tell u it is not, never actually managed to get it done as a perma ( never really put too much effort into it either) as its a very long fight were ur not allowed to screw up even once and that dragon will bite actually see u and bite u if ur not carefull so u also need some pretty good defensive stats paired with offensive ones so the fight doesnt take forever.

    You should do this with 5 permastealth rogues and see how fast you can kill it. :P

    I remembered when I tried soloing Draco before mod 2, rank 8 gears, and extra boons. I could only get him till 75% or till hand phase. Just back then I didn't have enough stamina dodge or recov. I also tried Dread vault back then, he has less HP than Draco and I could get him to 60%. That place is pretty scary though. The phase with the whole floor turning into a big red circle and accidentally positioning yourself close to a tentacle that 1 hits you (stealth or not).

    I just never tried seriously soloing Dread vault because the two times I cleared it in a group b4 mod 2; it took about 30-40 minutes and basically the boss didn't drop anything and the chest even on DD wasn't there.

    But I might try it this weekend and get some epic drop from the boss lol.

    Yeah most TR would think that Bait and Switch is just there for extra stealth. But if used or placed down properly on a red circle it can increase your AP gain dramatically. There's certain situation where I can be 1% AP and proper placed BnS will give me 100% AP. Basically standing infront of Fire breath and tanking half second of it, then immediately dropping BnS and roll away. Another situation is during hand phase. Stand their for 2 seconds and drop BnS and roll away.

    It's a high risk/reward situation. I only use it on the first half but after that I just play it safe.

    Yeah nice job y acomplished it legit . You have done what 1 dps TR 1 buffer HR 1 Tank GWF 1 Tank GF and 1 Buffer DC cannot do legit there is absolutly no way to kill the boss without CW or 2 CW or 3 CW or 4 CW or 5 CW :).
    Great work i always told my friend to roll to perma hide but he always say this : no way (i cant chose this path cuz i hate him, and i think its legit cheat).We have done all dungeon in the game, i wanted to create a guide but still missing CN (legit no cw)and i have absolutly no idea how to do it without stacking multi DC GWF ..ooor many CWs.(all thing are easy in CN until last boss )
    Any suggestion???
