I believe one of the key elements missing from Neverwinter is a raid content. The majority of MMO offer some sort of raiding progression which is staple of this gaming genre. From my experience this kind of content keeps the PVE players in the game. Most guilds strive to complete this content for pride and gear. As of now guilds have little function other than bank and HUB for likeminded individuals.
My suggestion would be to add a 10 Man Weekly Raid (Campaign) similar to the way SWTOR does their raid. I think other MMO also do this.
Rules:
10 Man Normal or Hard
Can be completed only once a week
If you kill first boss, you are locked out of first boss (cannot join a new raid that week, only a campaign raid that has progressed as far as you or farther). This will prevent farming and exploit.
Dungeon Finder Queue for PUG just in case you cannot join in with guild.
Instead of boons maybe a gear set that takes two weeks of campaign (2 raids) to obtain 1 piece of the set.
Any other suggestions or insight would be great. I just love the co-op play with guild. As of now the only large scale grouping is in GG, and unfortunately it doesn't peak my interest...Please keep ideas positive and constructive…Thank you for taking time to read this.

+++ for true raiding progression and hard modes with better gear for those able to finish.

As long as it stays Weekly Raid I support this and I don't want dayly Raid system. I don't want this game to become to much WOW like progression though I enjoyed WOW for years.
Anything 10man or more. Really sucks that I have a guild with a bunch of people, but can only bring 5 into a dungeon at any time. This goes for PVP too, but i'm focusing on the PVE side in my discussions.
Honestly at this point I wouldn't even care if there was a reward involved. I'd be happy with just the new content and ability to do real guild events. We could actually use the calendar tab on the guild menu for things other than non-sense. What's the point of the calendar at this stage in the game anyway?
Yep. Something for more than 5 people for a change. There are already more than 5 classes, and more are coming.
What devs is so difficult in putting some boss in some place of some map ? No need of great reward. Temporary fashion would be enough. Some "I killed the dragon" tee-shirt that would disappear from your inventory after 24 hours.
Dude i'd be happy with a title that said "10 Man Raider" and only lasted for 5minutes if meant that I could enjoy more than 4 guildies in a group at a time...
I don't mind the idea of 10 man content. But I absolutely cringe at the idea of going back to the days of weekly raids.
I'm talking something fun, non-time consuming, challenging, ect. I definitely don't want a scheduled raid 4days a week. Just looking for something PVE other than GG that can be coordinated with my guild that can include more than 5 players. This is one of the only thing this game lacks other than PVP brackets.
I certainly hope the Devs are smart and creative enough to develop mechanics that doesn't just include more adds... There are so many ideas from these forums alone. Staying positive...
I used to love the 10 man raids from DDo, however, i do not miss the waiting to gather a full group and needing x number of this class and such... I left DDo becuase i got tired of waiting for raids, because you would do all your raids on one toon, then the next day alll the raids on the next toon and so on.
I hope they do not implement the DDo concept of insanly low drop rates and a raid counter where after 20 completes, oyu can try to see if you got the one piece you needed... then at 40 completes, then at 60 completes...
But it would be cool to see events and instances where you can have more than 5 people in a group.
^ These threads have been popping up for a while now. I am always in support of a 10 man raid. Weekly reset timer on a 10 man raid would be awesome.
Kill a boss and saved to the instance, MOBs dont respawn in the dungeon. Something like 5 bosses total (maybe 2-3x the length of CN)
Loot off each boss for all classes.
Boss 1 - Gloves
Boss 2 - Helm
Boss 3- Boots
Boss 4 - Chest
Boss 5 - Mh/OH
Then ontop of that, have currency drop off each boss as well (like MC/VT) which you can use to buy things like Neck/rings/belt gear that corresponds to the type of gear offered from the dungeon.
For Boss encounters each boss could have a unique method of kill, with the last boss incoorperating the 4 total mechanics together...
For instance, Boss 1 may periodically strike the ground causing stalagtites to fall from the ceiling or stalabmites to rise from the ground both would "Daze" the player and cause them unable to cast for say 3-5 seconds.
Then Boss 2 may have a mechanic where there is a ledge on each side that collects water from stlagtites from the ceiling, periodically when the buckets of water fill, you must run up the ramp and click the bucket to poor it over the boss (some magma type) in which you would then be able to DPS the boss for a short period, rinse repeat.
ETC...
Final boss would have all those mechanics combined, invulnerable boss that periodically drops stalagtites from teh ceiling that can only be DPSd once you poor the buckets of water on him ETC.
This way each fight prepares you for the last, each fight players have a chance to get loot and over time players can farm the belt/rings and such via currency if they like...
Love this idea, I hope they can come up with something we request for once, to make the players stay and not look for another game to play once they get bored so fast.

If i were a person with a lot of free time, i would love 5 hour daily raids with 100 man content.
However, as a fully employed professional, i only want to have casual raids with 5 man content which i can join with PUGs, have a good time clearing, and get loot out of it.
And the reality of the situation, is that neverwinter caters to the casual. Which is why i am playing this game.

I'm not looking for 100man content. If GG can handle 40 people in pvp, or 5v5 pvp, most certainly the game can handle a 10man content without ruining performance or frame rates. Raids dont have to be 5 hours. If raid times take that long I would shoot myself. I'm a professional too. I work in the insurance industry. Not to mention I have a wife and kids. I don't play more than 2hr a day average if i'm lucky. I still, within 4-5 months, have beat everything in the game and yearn to include more than just 5 people at a time in game content.
