So this is my first attempt at making a foundry quest so I've stuck with more templated resources whilst learning the mechanics; but have tried to make it varied and fun along the way. It was made with dialogue being light and combat heavy though.
Difficulty is medium-hard on solo, but depends a lot on what class you are. Should take 30-35 minutes if you play normally, speed run times are around 15-20 mins. it will count towards the daily foundry mission as well now.
Name: The Rising
Code: NW-DL3B3PKZU
My next attempt should be more custom than this but we all have to start somewhere :-) Enjoy!
A lot of the glitches and small issues are now gone and it has a good time for Rhix's dailies - I just need some more runs and 5 star ratings to help me out. Hope some here can help
I just played your quest with my Lev.60. GWF. It was very enjoyable! I love the quests with more story, but this no problem! Good fights, good enviroment(some debris floating in the air, but no too much), good loot...Grat!(sorry, the english no my first language!)
I still haven't got puplished quest, but I working on it!
Alternatively, unless you really want this portal effect, right-click on them and change their appearance to an invisible sphere then add the round portal fx (forgot its name).
2. Floating NPCs and objects
Due to the uneven ground, some objects are floating.
You can rotate, lower their Y-axis or do both.
For NPCs, you might want to just put them on flat surface.
You have made use of premade maps and the benefit is that they are already mostly detailed.
However, adding more details of your own will still be of great benefit to the atmosphere, particularly the city map and the last final family/friends map.
5. Sounds
You may want to add some sounds in for the boss (cleric) battles.
The sound effects are a bit glitchy though so do fiddle with them to get a feel of how they work first.
That ends the review.
Well done=)
By the way, one thing that I really would like to know.
Thank you for the feedback, due to that i've been able to make the following fixes:
1. - Portals: I've changed them all to something more simple which doesn't take up the screen.
2. - Floating objects: I've moved them to flatter ground to avoid them being level on one side and in the air on the other.
3. - Text: Updated. Reason behind the friends/family mess up was the quest started with family but then was changed to friends to be better for any gender character playing it.
4. - I'll look into this
5. - Honestly havn't looked into any of the sounds in the foundry.
Oh, I've added your one to my quest list so will play it when I get some spare time
Update it with new encounters, a storyline that ties more into current Event. Add a possible difficulty selection, and some fun side-quest that grant the you a companion healer/tank/mage. Just little things like that reward the player.

You can do it when your daily foundry is up since it is eligible.
Thank you.
I have finished playing your quest and here is my review:
First, congrats on your first foundry!
Your quest is a straightforward and combat-focused 1 and I did not find any major issues with it.
Thus, it is near flawless in terms of design.
That said, here are the nitty gritties that I found which you may want to take a look at:
1. The portals

This detail object is a cone shaped 1.
I too have used it in my quests so I know its problem.
Since we cannot see the effect when we are placing it down in the 3D editor, you may have to do a bit of trial and error and playtest it a few times.
Just rotate it a little.
Here are some pictures from my own foundry which may help you find the rotation values that you want:

What is the name of the detail object that you used for the heads of the statues in the crypt?

This info will be of immense help to me in the production of my next quest.
I'll really appreciate it if you can tell me. Thanks.
