Requesting Players to Play Foundry

Hello,

I recently created a foundry in which i had worked on for a week. I implemented several different game mechanics to increase the value of its gameplay. I would like more people to play it and review. It would mean a lot.

The foundry quest is called "Lost City." Currently it has been played one time and the bugs found in that playthrough were fixed. If any bugs occur, please send an email to @tertiusrex. I appreciate your time.

Thank you.

You should post a description and information about the quest with the name of the quest as the title/subject.
What is it about? Is it story/combat/exploration? About how long is it estimated to take to do? etc.

Hi Tertius, I'm doing your quest. I'll send you a e-mail of what I think. Could I ask you to play my quest too?

The short-code is NW-DPIJSYAI7 and its name is "The Orb of Avalon". It's a balanced quest, so story and quite combat-intensive. It can be played solo. You should be able to finish it in about 15 - 20 minutes.

Historians doing something, sure, sign me up! I played with a level 60 DC

This is a very unusual quest that has great potential but it is in need of some good editing. I was making a point by point list but that was two pages by the time I stopped. I didn't want to overwhelm you with nitpicky things so I've summarized it here. You say you worked on it for a week: for many authors that is not very long at all. Many of the details and fine tuning you see in quests come from that extra time investment. Yours will also benefit from the same effort.

Generally speaking I would recommend you run the text through a spell and grammar checker. OpenOffice is a free one you can download.

I would recommend adding shrubs, grass, flowers and other small details to your maps. These really make them feel more natural. Check all of your maps for floating objects (well in maps in which things should not be floating, at least).

I thought that the communication method with the crystal was unique and I have not seen anything like that before. It was really good.

Change your map transition texts from the default "Go to Next Map" to something that fits the quest better. Add doors instead of just an invisible interactive for doors.

    Good luck!
