Honey badger bugger?

Hey guys,

Just wondering that honey badger for me on death stays dead. I have to unsummon him and summon again (out of combat of course, but it will resummon instantly). If it is down in combat, it will stay dead for me permanently until I resummon it.

Is this a known issue? If yes, for how long?

Don't know for how long but mine is the same. I'm starting to believe he's not dead, just faking. Lazy sod!

Do you mean you can't revive it manually and it also won't auto revive after combat ends (circle under your feet disappears for 5+ seconds)

Yes. And it stays down, dead, no matter what. Then when I walk away the whole portrait disappears as well. So I'm fighting alone.
But if I dismiss and resummon it comes instantly.

I think it does have one "fake death" effect on it, I see "ZzzZzz" over its head. But then it does get up even in the same battle. So I'm talking about the "real death" after that one fake death occurred.

So I'm gathering info before I go to support. I just spent 1300 zen on this follower. And it turns out to be totally useless (unless it is my fault that he stays down for some reason).

Let me know anything related to it, thanks!

    Hm I see.
But can you revive it manually or does this not work either?

And my Will'O'Wisp keeps disappearing on me. I always have to dismiss it then re-summon it about 3 or 4 times per zone/instance I am in. Does not happen with any other companions. Don;t have the Badger so can;t comment on that. Wondering if this is hapenning to other companions as well?

The only "disappearing" issue I get with companions is when they get stuck; classic example: Plague Tower where all the spellplague flames are present on the floor and the companion can't manage (a pretty obvious) way around it.

@OP regarding Honey badger: I could be misremembering, but I think this is a bug and was reported in Forums (and ticket) a month or so ago. I strongly recommend you submit an in-game bug report and also recreate (or ask a Mod to move) this thread in the Bug Reports forum. The more people reporting (or adding to) a bug report the more important it is for the Devs (I suspect - as the squeakiest wheels get the most attention and often fixed sooner).

For now I'm just gathering information. Wanna see how old this issue is. Also Its a good oportunity to get in fresh data from users, before I start a bug report.

So this topic stands for just getting information on the most busy place, in the general area.
Then I start a real bug report ticket all points to that direction.

Revive issue: To answer to other's questions: When it dies I stand above it and I cannot revive it at all. Unable to interract with it. So I dismiss, re-summon and it appears instantly. This made me believe its a bug at firsthand.

Disappearance issue: Have to still figure this out. MY badger does disappear, but I have to check either a.) it disappears before dieing or b.) disappears after dead for a long time and (supposedly) game is unable to re-summon it automatically. But Honey Badger definitely doing this too, namely disappearing after a while (during combat).

I know people have mentioned this before and this happens with one of my guildmates Honey Badger. I don't know if this is because Honey Badger doesn't care, or what but it has been mentioned.

The honey badger when knocked out, disappears from your side and sleeps. If you find him where he fell after a fight is over, he will have ZZZZzzz's coming out of him and you can see health regenerating on him. Wait till he is at full health, he will hop up, his portrait will re-appear, and he will be good to go.

The description of him states that he is "somewhat loyal" or something along that lines, I think it is just the creators messing with us and making us freak out, thinking the critter has abandoned us when in truth he is just like any other companion, except he refuses to move until he is at full health.
This forum set up is absolutely horrible, I cant even figure out how to get my knight of the feywild title.
