Neverwinter Welcome Back Pack, question.

I got one of these.

If i wait until i am level 60 before opening it will i get a purple epic weapon that is level 60? Or will i only get 40k astral diamonds?

    I will repeat the question:

    I got a special item through an Email from Cryptic. The item is called Neverwinter Welcome Back Pack

    It says you get an Epic Weapon for your class and level.

    First question: is it bound or can I trade it?
    Second Question: will I get the Epic Weapon if I wait until level 60 to open the pack?

    The reason I ask is the pack description says:

    "For level 60 players you will get 40,000 Astral Diamonds in addition to an Experience Reward."

    The way I read that it sounds like you get nothing but 40 AD and some XP if opened at level 60.

    But that does not make sense to me since you cannot gain XP if at level 60, so I think it's a typo and it should read:

    "For level 60 players you will get 40,000 Astral Diamonds instead of the Experience Reward."

    If that is how it should read than the box could contain a level 60 Epic weapon.

    I just want to know because if it will not contain an epic weapon at level 60 then I will open it at level 58 to get the free levels. If it does contain the weapon and it is not bound, so that I can trade it, then I will wait until 60.


    Can someone, anyone, please confirm?

    I will anwser to your questions :)

    First, it is bound (you can clearly see it on the picture :P)
    Second: you do get the item at lvl60 :) if you take it at lvl 58,you will get to lvl 60, but your item will be lvl 58.

    For the AD, you get it since you cant no more lvl, but you still get the xp. Why? well... 2lvl worth of xp lvl companion quite fast :)

    But you can buy better lvl60 item from AH for a small cost (its a kinda weak T1 weap, but still better than a lot of stuff ;) )

    You will get the greater health stone, the 40k ad, 2 levels worth of experience (that can go towards a companion), and an epic weapon (which will have a min requirement of level 58 but will have the stats of a level 60 item). I believe the weapon is bound, but I'm not 100% sure.

    My assumption is that they meant is the weapon bound. And more than likely it is. The picture was of the actual pack itself not the weapon.

    OK so since no one knows for sure if the weapon is bound on not, then I guess I will wait and open at 60 just in case it is not, then I can trade it.

    99% chance it will not be tradeable. Why would they give a pack of items for people to return and allow them to be given/sold to others.

    how would i know? i don't speculate. i just want definitive answers in order to make an informed decision.
