Audio options reset everytime I restart the game

Every time I launch Neverwinter the audio settings revert back to the Default settings. I go back in and lower the various volume settings to a lower setting, hit Apply, hit OK, and everything is fine until I log off and restart the game at a later time.

No one in my guild is having this problem so I'm at wits end trying to figure out what is causing the problem.

Anyone else experience this and know how to fix it?

Thanks in advance

Anyone know if your audio settings are stored serverside or on a file on your hard drive? I looked on my hard drive but couldn't find any kind of NW config file.

I have never heard of this problem before.
Your best bet would actually be to contact customer support rather than posting in the bug report forums.

However I believe the audio settings are saved on your computer. :)

Just returned to the game and my audio settings still reset to default every time I log in. I did a search to see if anyone else was having the problem and found this thread I created a long time ago.

Anyone know if the audio settings are saved on your computer as a config file?

afaik , the those settings are saved in gameprefs.pref file in the NeverWinter\Neverwinter\Live\localdata Directory
imo, try to edit the file yourself (it's a text file, and just back it up to some other place) to check if it is not read only by accident or some other permission or write error.
The volume and sound options are at the bottom of the file and you can set them yourself.

You can also try deleting the file all together, the game should remake one. (backup first)
