DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED crash to desktop

I've been having constant crash to desktop problems. The game freezes, then crashes with a Windows error box that pops up stating:

Fatal Error: Direct3D driver returned error code
(DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED) while creating a render target view.

This only seems to happen when I'm running the game in DirectX 11 mode. DirectX 9 is fine.

My Cryptic error ID is 14189862. DXDIAG is here - http://sharetext.org/EWNe

I've fixed one problem I've discovered that trigger this error. I don't know if that will be a complete fix, however. It's unfortunately not scheduled to be released for a bit.

Yeah this has persisted for quite some time. It's only certain people with certain setups that have the issue, and it can be resolved by changing to DX9, which is why it is a low priority fix right now. Really sucks that I have this nice GPU hardware and can't use it to it's full potential in this game without getting an error ticket 14189862 crash. Thanks Dave for the feedback.

I experience this with an EVGA GTX 570. I have resolved the problem by using the EVGA Precision X software to increase my video card's voltage from 1000mV to 1025mV. After I do that I never have the crash again.

This issue still exists. I have been unable to run the game with shadows/post processing/screen space ambient occlusion and many other settings for nearly a month. I am not comfortable changing voltages for my GPU (nor do I feel I should have to) in order to fix a server side programming issue.

Can I please get an update as to what's going on and when it might be fixed?

I felt bold today and turned "Soft Particles" on again. Crashed to desktop. Silly me! :)

I crash to desktop constantly with 2x GTX570s in SLI. I've tried disabling SLI, halving all the graphics options, turning off antialiasing, etc. Everyone else in my party is playing on crappy laptops and they have no issues all night.

    It's back!

I have been using Arc/Neverwinter for months without error. It got patched today, and now I always get this error.

They have known about this for over a year... and now I get this... Drat!

Same here. I've had the problem before on my second computer but never the main one, until today. I have a GT630 in this machine.
