Alchemy Supplies

Is there a zone that drops alchemy supplies more than other zones? Specifically Basic Alchemical Knowledge. I can't seem to find that anywhere.

    You will find a Task under the Profession which will create something called an Unstable Potion. Every two or three run-throughs of this Task will reward you with the Research that you are looking for.

    In short - make or get the stuff necessary to run the experimentation task. They will sometimes produce an alchemical knowledge item, which is then used for the level up task. I am not sure of the chances of getting the alchemical knowledge, so be prepared to run the experimentation several times.

    In my experience, it was around 50% or slightly lower. It's not really bad, but better make/buy some spare ingredients, especially if you are training via gateway (you can't collect stuff from the AH on the fly there) :)

    Just to note the chances seem to be substantially lower if you are picking up your results in the Gateway, so be prepared for about 30% or lower there.

    Yeah I am using the gateway and it's much more convenient. I don't mind it taking a while, what else is there to do at work?
