Weapon Enchants Impact on Offhand

For the HR class, does a weapon enchant on the bow like Vorpal or GPF impact the melee offhand damage?
If not, wouldn't this make the melee option completely useless?

Thanks!

Weapon damage is weapon damage as far as the Weapon enchantments are concerned. They'll work with any weapon that you wield.

yes, weapon enchantments effects the offhand
i use the terror enchantment on my bow and when i use
my blades, it applies on my offhand when i hit my targets.

If your off-hand has dmg on it, yes.

so, just to be 100% clear, i could put a Vorp on my bow, and a Terror on my blades, and my Bow would deal x% Necrotic damage and debufff defense?

That would seem a bit OP. Do offhands even have weapon enchantment slots?

If it follows every other class, no. The "secondary" hand cannot have a weapon enchantment slot. The weapons with those slots are listed as "Primary" and you'll get an error when you try to put it into the slot. I tried this with a TR using 2x of the no-lvl epics and it says "this is a primary weapon and cannot go in this slot" or some such jazz.

No, because the blades do not have the right kind of slot for it.
This used to be an issue with TR's, which is why some weapons are main hand only.

With GF you have your main hand with its weapon enchant slotted and your shield bash has the same effect. IT was finally fixed a few patches ago. So im assuming that like TR and GF the HR functions the same.

the way i understand the mechanics of all characters is the stats each item provides contributes to your character's overall stats. that would include slotted items. so on the HR, using offhand blades, you're still going to utilize the benefits of whatever is slotted in your bow as it is still your character's damage output regardless of what gear you're currently using to dish it out. that's why you don't have enhancement slots on level 60 off-hand items for any class.

ok, i get it now. the Off-Hand weapon (in my case blades) does not have a Weapon enchant slot, but benefits from the Enchant slotted in the main hand
