Catalysts - Mark of Potency / Stability

As the title suggests, I made this thread in order to discuss about the Catalysts - Mark of Potency / Stability. This is neither a feedback or a suggestion thread regarding the new Module 2, so it doesn't need to go to the Preview forum, this thread is just meant for discussions, and sharing knowledge, and it gets more attention in General Discussion.

I want to ask, where can the Catalysts - Mark of Potency / Stability can be aquired ? I know there are 3 ranks of each, Green, Blue & Purple, but where can you aquire them ? I heard they drop from profession nodes, and I want to be sure. And also, if anyone knows, share with us the other ways of getting them.

If anyone has any other questions regarding the Catalysts - Mark of Potency / Stability please feel free to ask away and discuss.

    according to the developer in the feedback thread for the new refinement system, these will be available in the wondrous bazaar but they are also supposed to be both dropped by monsters (bosses?) and found in skill nodes. they're not intended to be a scarce commodity. they should be as common as identity scrolls and the enchants themselves.

    It's been said it possible could drop from bosses, skill nodes and MAYBE Wondrous Bazar (this last one is more a bit of personal interpretation). Also, I myself got some in the initial quests. Not sure if it'll be an standard.

    Just to be clear, I'm not talking about Artifacts, as most ppl think of the Artifacts when I say Marks ... so the Marks required for upgrading enchants. Now that that's clear, let's hope you guys are right, and they'll be common like the other consumables, and maybe upgradable ? 4x Green = 1 Blue, etc.

    I have already gotten a mark of potency and a mark of union (both green versions) from skill nodes.

    @melodywhr, lol sorry, I mean't MY personal interpretation, not yours. :P Glad u gave us some confirmation.

    So far I have not had any of these drop in game. The ones I had came from the Enchantment quest only. Others I need to buy from the Wondrous Bizarre at 500 diamonds for Lesser Marks. Do they only drop at max level or is it yet to be implemented?

    Lesser Marks of Potency do drop. they drop from skill nodes.

    the thing though is that they are quite rare. they dont drop no wear near as often as a green quality item should.

    Even the minor marks could use a bit of a boosted drop rate.
