Shift+Tab shortcut messing up play

So the Arc short cut is causing me a real headache. I will be sprinting, and then try to tab to become unstoppable, and bam, Arc short cut, bringing up a screen that makes me completely lose control of my character and I can't get out of it before I get roflstomped by everyone around me.

Can I turn this thing off? If not, then I will have to hang the class up until there is a way to do so.

    I run into this at the worst time on my GWF. Like charging a control point in PvP and activating unstoppable. Then I get "roflstomped" because my character just stands there while everyone drops a full rotation of encounters and im frantically trying to close the god **** arc screen. On my GF it happens when im trying to mark a target in combat with my shield up. so guess what happens... My character drops his shield and stands there like a drunken tourist in Disneyland while the boss im trying to keep agro on runs off to ruin the DC or CWs day. Is a headache for sure and would love to be able to get rid of it.

    Is there no way to change this shortcut under Arc's own options menu? (I downloaded NW in open beta before Arc so I dunno how it works.)

    I thought it was possible to start NW without Arc? Try making a shortcut directly to the executable for the game client. As long as there are no pending updates, I imagine it should always work.

    However, like the above poster, I was fortunate enough to have had NW still beta, i.e. the non-ARC/standalone client.

    My office PC has had NWO since beta and doesnt have arc. I have yet to find a setting in arc but it is new to me as I have only used it for NWO. (I would prefer to not use it at all really)

    Ok, I found it. It's in the Arc client screen, NOT in game. Follow these steps...

    1. open game client
    2. Click on "settings" at top right of window
    3. "General"
    4. Click on "In Game" tab
    5. Change key binding

    I have steam, and that has its own faults as well. I was forced to download arc when I installed the game and just left it.

    Steam also has issues. For example, no steam shortcut like screenshot will work until you've pulled up the overlay at least once, and you may have to shift-tab more than once to get the overlay up. Ingame tab will activate even when you use shift-tab and after closing overlay it might get pulled up when pressing only tab.

    I am also having issues playing a few games on Steam. When I first got Farcry3, it was completely unplayable. I had to go through an entire series of steps in creating short cuts outside of steam, and several others, just so the client wouldn't crash every 10 mins.
