  same problem for me, just started a twilight run and got server not responding. so i rebooted my router and pc now i'm stuck at launcher this is the first time this happened to me. also i'm able to craft on the gateway.

  Same problem. Neverwinter launcher stopped working. Running version CL_2013_12_16_19_27. Gets to "Connecting" and shows "Version NW.10.20131211a.9" but never gets to the "Patching" step and shows no button next to it (usually shows "Cancel" followed by "Launch"). Bogs the computer down with something beating on my internet connection and then aborts. Error submitted through error-collector program as well. I was able to play as recently as this morning.

  i finally found the solution! check your internet connection. mine was like blocking it so i can't patch the game. after tweaking it i finally can play. i log in the router thing and change some setting etc. i went to 198.etc.ect.1.1. hope this helps. almost forgot, you have to connect the cable directly from the router so that you can log in to it.
