Hey all,

We'll be performing a scheduled maintenance this evening at 9PM PST (when is that in your time zone?) to fix an issue with the Fishing contest.

Estimated downtime is 90 minutes, and patch notes are available here.

Thank you! :)

Update 1: (9:00 PM PST) Maintenance has begun. Patch Notes available here: http://nw.perfectworld.com/news/?p=1070941
Update 2: (9:40 PM PST) Maintenance is progressing as planned. Hopefully it won't be too much longer, we'll keep everyone posted.
Update 3: (9:45 PM PST) Maintenance has completed ahead of schedule. Welcome back to Neverwinter and thanks again for your patience!

A lot of people don't notice when maintenance is upcoming, and plan their gaming time based on the upcoming events on the HUD. It'd be a really nice tweak if it listed Maintenance in place of the normal upcoming event, and would keep everyone better informed, without them needing to seek information elsewhere. Besides, events during that 30/60 minute block are not going to happen, so it takes up no unused or useful space. Just a thought. :)

Make Gauntlgrym or DD active after patch. The past two nights we've lost them due to the patches. Please =] With 10 maraschino cherries on top?

Scheduled Maintenance happens every Thursday at 7 am Pacific I guess they could put that in the events calander , the maintenance over the last two nights has been emergency maintenance so it would be impossible for them to list it.

It would be better if they learned the proper times to schedule outages... If I scheduled outages 2 nights in a row during primetime I would be fired, must be nice to be unconcerned with uptime or customer satisfaction.

I have to say also that it seems that putting the servers down now for MNT is of little concern, Understandably there are issues that need fixed but man you are putting the live servers down for the winter event FREQUENTLY. The event is causing more problems than its worth 2 hours lost because the fishing tourney is not scoring right? WOW is all I can say. I was just about to log on when all of a sudden the loader says down for 2 hrs. I am thinking that if a seasonal event is going to require us to have unscheduled MNT EVERY night for the next 20 days I would rather not have the event. I might as well start planning to play solo as this is the time my friends get off work and we play or level etc..

This is an event that's slated to run for, what, 20 or so days? Better they nip any issues in the bud lest exploiters and cheaters get any undue advantage over those that are doing things fair-and-square.

if fishing is the only issue doesnt it only apply to the winter festival? do they really need to shut down the whole servers or couldn't they just shut down the zone?

The events are on a rotating schedule and occasionally maintenance will come up during those times. We're sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully you can catch the next one very soon.
