Just wanted to say thank you to the devs for giving us a destroyable inanimate object, don't think it can be re-skinned yet? But still, its a step in the right direction.
Thayan Summoning Portal ...
It spawns as a Summoning Portal, which can be attacked and killed, it spawns Imps now and then, until it is destroyed. So many possibilities!!

Oh, it's not inanimate -- you can set it to one/looping-patrol (didn't try follow or wandering or feign death yet though)
