This is happening more and more everyday. This is becoming silly how often this happen.
I won I stayed I want a reward. Why bother to PVP at all if we get nothing for it? I understand if I was not active. I understand if I did nothing. That is not the case at all your system is broken fix it.
This is about the most
HAMSTER thing I have ever seen in PVP ever rewarding the victors NOTHING at all.

Happens about four or five time a day for me. Sometimes I get rewards sometimes I get No rewards. No Rewards for winning who had that bright idea?
pvp domination used to give more glory for less score but they changed it because people would queue up for pvp, run to the home node, get their cap points and then die. after that they'd stand in the spawn area. so essentially they were getting glory for doing nothing.
the way things are now, unless you get into a fairly even match, you're going to have people quitting before the match is over. when that happens, you have no chance to get cap points unless you happen to find a decent group that will trade cap points with you. but that is rare. no cap points means no glory.
you do however still get credit for the match for your pvp daily.
and there you have it.
Did anything actually happen in the match, or did you and your teammates just sit around and wait for it to end? If the second, what kind of reward are you expecting for doing literally nothing?
Don't waste 5 minutes waiting around for nothing.
Also learn the minimum score needed to earn glory.
One last tip....
If your team gets steamrolled in the first 15 seconds and you notice the other team rocking pvp gear and are a premade and you are not?....Bail. Queue again once you have left the queue. The chances of you going up against that premade is almost nil while they are figuring if they need to bail or chew the fat while waiting for the free glory.
Players getting undeserved or excessive Glory is far less of an issue than the fact that the game basically rewards people for leaving matches they aren't guaranteed to win and penalizes players who legitimately stick it out on either the winning or losing side with reduced or no rewards.

Okay, that's fine. So if this system is implemented, what I'll do at the start of the match is:
1. Run to home base
2. See my PUG is up against a premade
3. Die instantly
4. Sit in home spawn for the rest of the match
And I bet I won't be alone in this. So if this is what you want to have happen, if you want to have a quitter penalty without fixing the ridiculous broken matchmaking system, then let's do it.
What's really great is when we go up against a premade as a pug, we're WINNING by 200 points, then when one of the pugs realises it's a premade he leaves without looking at the score.
Seriously, you leavers and AFKers are what makes PvP in this game horrible. Sometimes when it's a prem, it's just some friends playing together, not some pro pvp team there to grief you.
Leaver penalty, stat. But even more than a leaver penalty, we need a MATCHMAKING system so that new players don't get matched against pro teams in the first place.
I do not think it would hurt. Other games I have played it takes sometimes HOURS and HOURS to get into a match. Then when you do you are there win or lose because that will be it for an hour or two so you want to make the most of it. Here it is instant.
So even if they fine tune it down to the z factor we will still not be waiting long and to be honest I would not mind waiting a few extra moments to get into a GOOD PVP match one I know I will be intent on winning for the next 30 minutes even if we lose and give it 100 percent chance we know we are gonna get something maybe not the "winners cache" but we would get enough to make it worth that half hour.
Now about the winners cache. I am BORED of always getting the same thing glory glory glory. Why not when the match is over like in dungeon delves event maybe make this happen in the Arena but make it so that the winners receive One random Piece of Tier 2 PVP Equip usable only for there class.
Now to make it interesting we need more then 1 set of tier two PVP Equip bare minimum 2 sets a class. That way you have a reason to keep farming to complete the whole set. Then get the other complete set.
Seriously, you hardcore pvpers really still don't get it. A casual gamer that enjoys pve as well as pvp that gets stuck against a premade geared up pvp team is fun for no one. do you really enjoy cap all three points in the first minute and then just stomping the pug team down as soon as they leave spawn. Or do you prefer a challenge. Because if you really prefer the former seek therapy. I pug and I will quit whenever the match is uneven, whether in our favor or against because neither is enjoyable.
There's no rule preventing you from dragging your team down by refusing to actively participate, but at least you wouldn't be able to repeatedly bail until you found a match you were guaranteed to win.
The game does need at least one or two optional queues due to the huge disparity in experience and equipment between new and/or extremely casual 60s and other players, but these players who constantly quit PvP will probably find some other excuse for their behavior and keep on as before unless a penalty is instituted.

If these two issues are resolved almost all of the reasons to complain about the game would be resolved.
Heck even P2W complaints would be resolved by this. If a matchmaking system was put in place whether people buy or earn gear there would at least be even matches which is the true issue. People at this point assume that people with high gear score bought it and that is not true by any stretch of the imagination but if people do buy gear they are actually more likely to do poor if a decent matchmaking system is put in place.
The matchmaking system woudl have to take into account weapon and armour enchants though and not just GS, otherwise with the cheap re-slotting costs some teams will game the system with Low GS but BiS weapon/armour enchants.
You make an interesting point. I could easily have 2 sets of equipment. The low GS set gets me in a low GS match. Then after the match starts I put on my high GS equipment and dominate (unless others do it too :P). Makes matchmaking a bit more complicated.
Give a man a fire and he's warm for the day. But set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.
DING DING DING!! We have a winner
Solution to the issue:
1. MMR/ELO/True Skill ladder system: Simple Bronze, Silver, Gold is all you need.
Leavers will get negititive score and drop down the ladder to bronze while majority of population will be Silver with higher level players in Gold.
Its a good idea ,yea.
You gonna be permanent bronze thow
that is a nice idea, tbh, implement a ranking/ladder for pvp
the better you do the higher you go up the food chain and play
against better players, the worse you do such as afk/leaving mid match
matched up against weaker opponents, rewards based on ranking.
and maybe add a ranking/ladder position requirement on trade of blades
store items.
but thats just my opinion.

“If God is all-powerful He cannot be good, if God is good He cannot be all-powerful!”
See you there.
In addition there should be a vote kick option for people not leaving the spawn point. If 4 people are willing to vote you out, you probably deserve to be out, and should get a deserter buff to boot.
There are two ways to resolve this:
-Don't allow gear changing in PvP. Probably a good idea to have in general anyway.
-The system should only account for Gear Score in part of the matchmaking equation anyway. Gear score should only play a role in the ELO system so if somebody used some icky loophole like that for an unfair advantage they would be pushed up the ELO bracket and into a more appropriate bracket anyway.
Gear Score should simply be the first logic pass. If a person has a high win to loss ratio then they are obviously outplaying their gear score and should be bumped up. Alternatively if a person loses a lot with their gear score they are underplaying their gear score and should be bumped down.
Gear score alone has never been and will never be an accurate way to assess a player's play skill.
