Walk/Run?

I had no idea where to ask this question so I have opened this topic here, if it's not for this part of the forum please for the authorities to move it to the appropriate forum location, thank you.

As the name of the topic says, is there any walk option at all? I couldn't find a key bound to it and when I open the console and type /walk there are two options walk 1 and simply walk but none of them makes my character walk, he always runs, and only running is not good for RPing, so I decided to ask here if there is such option at all in this game?

    No option to "walk".

    Best you can do is keep your movement at "0", it's the slowest you'll be.

    Yes there is, but it's not set to a key by default.

    Try entering this on the chat bar, where <key> is the key on the keyboard you'd like to be your walk toggle:

    /bind <key> ++walk

    That's it.

    I just did as you said haelra, and when I press the key I have set my character is still running instead of walking, thought jarebla said there is no actual walking....

    EDIT: Erm, I just made my character walk somehow, I am not really sure I was typign things like /walk1 and /walk 1 in the chat and now it walks but I don't know now how to make it run again lol.

    EDIT 2: Ok I found out how. /walk 1 makes it walk while /walk 0 makes it run again. Though the key binding formula in the console still is not working.

    It works perfectly for me, so I don't understand why it doesn't for you. What Jarebla said wasn't correct. We answer this question in the NWRP channel often, and I've never heard of it not working for someone before.

    I have mine set to use the "v" key, and I press the key, and I walk instead of run, and press it again and I run instead of walk. All it took was "/bind v ++walk".

    Are you using a special key? Some of them have specific codes you'd have to type in to register them. Are you using a non-US keyboard, or some sort of special gaming keyboard?

    you type /walk 0 - your character now walks /walk 1 to run. 0 = On / 1 = Off
