I wanna ask you: Do I need to download ARC to play Neverwinter if I had uninstalled Neverwinter? And a silly question, do I need to download Neverwinter again once I have ARC platform on my pc, and if I choose Yes, I have ARC?
Thanks for responses:cool:

I have Arc and did not need to re download NW. I have a Desktop icon though and I do not go through Arc -so can not help with the rest.

I don't know the answer to that, but if you don't want ARC, and happen to have Steam installed, you can find Neverwinter there now and can go that route.

I meant if it wouldn't be 10-15 Gigabytes to install Arc and wouldn't be patching 1-2 GB up if there's a maintenance. So anyway e.g. in other online game if you uninstall the whole game then you shouldn't install once again 'cause it will determine as recognizing as it downloaded

If you have removed Neverwinter from your computer and don't have the exe file anyone from when you downloaded the game in the past. You will have to use ARC to download and install Neverwinter. My ARC folder is only 95 megs. It takes up very little room.

If you no longer have anything from your original download. Then you have to download ARC. Which is a small download. You then run ARC. You select Neverwinter to download. It will download and install the game. The download for Neverwinter is still large. My Neverwinter install folder is 13 gigs.

ARC is less than a gigabyte. Neverwinter on the other hand will be about 8 gigabytes or more (download plus patches.)

I use Arc all the time and love it (speaking for myself only here) - there is practically no overhead and it's an awesome shell if you play more than one PWE game (I play all three Cryptic titles, so it's useful for me). I understand the end-goal will be to do away with the launcher entirely and Arc will become the actual game launcher...eventually (I figure in a year or so).

Short story: Arc is nothing. It's just a launcher that also pulls from MSIE to display forums and web sites. That's about it. Puny footprint and no effect on game-play at all.
