screw this, a code is required on the gateway , code received by email confirmation which has a link to Facebook.Screw Facebook i don't like it nor use it , i've blocked also my computer to Facebook outgoing/incomings with the "Hosts" file through port 127.0.0.1 .So i won't bite your propaganda with the facebook thing.Using/subscribing facebook can't be forced by no one and it's a free will, also specified by international laws or United European organisations.
open beta player of some PWE games - north america launched versions:
- PWI - November, 2008 (2 months after North-America-West Coast open beta)
- Forsaken World - open beta
- BOI - open beta
- Star Trek Online - ftp January, 2012 and rank 14 STO Wiki contributor
- Neverwinter open beta June, 2013

    Your hatred of Facebook can't begin to compare to mine. I promise you.

    Nothing is forced in regards to Facebook otherwise I wouldn't be playing or partaking in said actions.

    So, what do you think is requiring Facebook?

    sounds like account guard to me. but there is no link to facebook with account guard.

    There's no FB link requirement.

    You log in to the gateway with your normal game username and password. The first time you do it from your browser, you are required to verify your PC browser via email as being a legitimate login location (basically acting as a secondary authentication which is to YOUR benefit). But there's no Facebook requirement.

    Oh, my bad, i'm sorry , i 've checked the wrong email adress (i have 5) and on the yahoo mail the newest mail was a link to something like : <link removed> which i don't know what this can be.
    Yes this is the first time using the account guard which i don't know what is that too , but i checked now the proper email ( an old one) and i managed to enter in gateway.

    I thought Cryptic did the same thing with Youtube as Google did, there you can't rate/comment anymore unless you have a Google+ account (google+ is a social network similar to Facebook, Twitter, etc)

    My bad, apologies and i'm sorry for this missunderstanding.

    everytime I try sword coast adventures it says coming soon.

    It's not ready yet. They are just fixing somethings up.
